Thumbs up So has anyone tried AOL's new web browser?

I'm using it, and... I actually like it. It's a lot like firefox. Has the tabs, only this time you can hover over the tabs and get a small picture of what the page looks like. The direct downloading is like IE's (which I like better anyways). It also has a built in pop-up blocker which is pretty good.

I'm reccommending it

That's hard to believe, I'll have to wait for more reviews

to be honest, if there's a greater or equal evil to microsoft, AOL is it. They're internet for kiddies who's parents don't know how to use the net so buy this stuff that's so retarded & system reliant that it slows things down to hell, in some isntances not uninstalling properly, and of coursem the shit adverts.

just wouldn't go near it

I was iffy at first as well. But I decided to give it a shot and it shocked me. It's a loooot like firefox, just with some improvements that I would have liked to have seen in firefox.

eh, it's up to you. I'd say it's worth a shot. Not too big of a file to download either. The only bad thing is the little bar that had the google search engine in it uses the aol search rather than google. Which we all know is lame. But I usually found myself still going to google on firefox even with that little google bar there.

The only reason I'm using AOL right now is because 6 months of free isp came with my laptop.

To my disdain, it was AOL, but I'm not going to turn down something that is free.

I use firefox.
