Motorla V3 RAZR vs. Motorola V635i

Well my phone is a bit fucked and it won't be worth repairing it, meaning I have to get a new one before this one dies completely. So here is something I'm interested in - the RAZR (new black model) vs. the V635i. Price wise they'll end up being equal for me...the V635i has a little more features, but the black RAZR is slick and sexy...what do you think? Suggest something better?

and compare the specs side by side, or check out the other phones that are available..
I'd suggest the Sony Ericsson K750!!

K750 is sweeeeeeeeeet I think that's the one with the 2mp camera ...

yah it is the one with the 2MP camera.. plus the backside looks like an actual camera..

im thinking of getting that cell phone as well !
Its just such a fun phone lol!
and the talk time hours is pretty decent as well compared to alot of the phones on the market..
acutally i think the k750 is the best phone on the market.. thats what ive heard anyway ..

I have the black RAZR. Very sleek phone. The software works great (a first for Motorola), and its easy to use. I would go for it.

I saw the V635i in the store today and it was quite chunky which turned me off a little...

edit: if you don't need a 1.3 MP camera on your phone, I suggest the v551.

Whatever phone you get - make sure it has 850.

What the hell is 850 and does the Samsung D500 have it? That'll probably be my next phone, but if you mobile phone guys say otherwise...

Well shit, does anybody know of any GOOD slider phones? I'm in love with the slider design and after owning one for 2 years now I couldn't live without it.

i tried looking for one with quad band gsm, i couldnt find a good looking phone so i decided to go with razr

Rogers is building out their high-speed system on the 850 mHz frequency because Rogers owns 100% of the spectrum within this band. This is in addition to the 1900 network.

By having a phone that is 850/1900 you can use both networks (better coverage, data rx/tx, etc).

Plus - remember our wave propagation law: frequency is inversely proportional to pentetration of solids (lower the frequency the better the reception within a building).

If you buy a phone that is 900/1900 - you will be limited to the 1900.

Definitely the D500 is worth getting, it's gone down in price to about 300-500 which is kinda cheap for that type of phone. Or if you wanna wait a bit you can get the D600 which is pretty much the same except it's got a 2mp camera.

I gotta agree with you on that, my friend has the k750 and he just loves it, the camera takes pictures that are actually much better than some digi's out there, plus its got a video recorder, fm radio, the works.

Myself...I'm thinking of getting the W800 which is like the k750 in pretty much every respect but also comes with a mp3 player. Very nice looking phone too
