REVIEW: NuEra, Dennis Hahn & Richard Taylor @ Purple Room
OMG.. you have got to be kidding me.. there has been no review thread started on this night yet.. and I have gotta be one of the last ones home (except for Rich, Peter and Sean 
)
What a night I tell ya.. Picked Barry up (and the lady friend.. sorry can't remember her name) around 10pm tonight.. managed to make it into the club for 10:30pm..
NuEra was thrown down the tracks.. Andrew.. what can I say hun.. everytime I hear you the sound just keeps getting better 
Although it is hard to play to a very minimal crowd to get reaction I am sure 
But then people start to arrive....more TA's through the doors and just as Dennis was about to start!
Dennis.. you truly are the man.. you know how to work that crowd over and keep them jumpin with all hands in the air.. another well done night! Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from you 
and yes Dennis, you're right.. we do look hot 
After Dennis's set.. a few of the out-of-town TA's headed home as it was getting later.. and things to do in the morning.. but Richard took the decks.. with some minor technical difficulties managed to start the good times rolling... dude.. thank you for a wicked set!! Bangin out some sweet sweet tracks.. none of which I can list but definitely know what they are to hear them!!!!
I danced til the very bitter end when Rich finished his set with The Other Side.. and you know what.. my legs weren't fully recovered from LoL and they won't be recovered anytime soon with another solid night of dancing that I put in
Thanks guys for a wicked night and it was good to see the TA's out in full force.. it just wouldn't be the same if you guys weren't there

jenn, i may or may not have been checking out some girls in that pic. 
great night as usual in the purple room. nice to see all the familiar friendly faces. fun times opening up the room and setting the pace for what turned out to be a fabulos night.
dennis, sweet job as always man--keepin the crowd jumpin on the home turf.
rich, final scratch, boooooooooooooooooo! just kiddin mate. you sounded real good up there. nice work building the room back up after the technical dificulties. truly signs of a good dj. you dropped some killer beats for sure proving that maybe house music isnt all that bad!
also, i have to say another highlite for me was watching fahad and dan go head to head on the dance floor, you mother******s sure know how to give it.
oh and one more noteworthy event, when i was playing some older indian man with a moustache just walks up to me and gives me a $20. not sure what that was all about, but thanks!

AWESOME night!!! NuEra kicked ass opening up the night even though I missed some of his set; got in at 10:45. It was fun at the glist getting Plastik Boy in...LOL!!! Thanks again Dennis for the help!
Wikked tracks ALL NIGHT LONG...I had to make up for missing his start so I danced NON STOP to Andrew's set...and of course, when DA HAHN came out, even though Plastik Boy wanted to buy me a drink and asked me to join him, I had to respectfully refuse because I couldn't stop for a SECOND!!!!!!! It's not very often I get to hear this genius! But thank you so much, dude, for the OJ! 
Yeah, had to jet out early but so nice to meet all of you again and see some of you tonight...and Jenn, can't wait to see you at Republik tomorrow night!!!!!!!! YESH!!! DOUBLE-HEADER OF DENNIS HAHN THIS WEEKEND!!! WOOOOOOOOT!!!!!

sorry i couldn't make it but on my way down from TO cuz just before guelph on the 401 it went to one lane i was so pissed off cuz i knew it was going to be a good night. didn't get into kitcheber till 1am. it looked like they were cleaning the road, who cleans a road, like come on
If I can ever get any of my sorry ass friends in K-Town to come out I will definately be there. It has been a year since I was last there. Heck I remember when it was Super Skate Seven....oh....the times I spent roller skating there Maybe I will bring the roller skates and dance with them on
What a great night in the Purple Room!!
We got there during Dennis' set, and he had the entire Purple Room in the palm of his hand, banging out some wicked tunes with a huge smile on his face. There were a lot of TAs there, but also a lot of other people just loving the tunes. There had to be at least 5 or 6 people just going nuts...getting up on the speakers, and dancing around the dj booth
After a few minutes of Final Scratch wiring issues, I was up and running... It was the first time using FS at a club, and other than the delay at the beginning, it went quite well. I know the purple room is notorious for loving their hard beats, but I decided to play a house set, and more than a few people commented how much they liked the tunes. Big props to magikb who was dancing up a storm right to the last track.
All in all, I think it was a success for Paradigm's first night at the club. Lots of people sporting the Paradigm T-shirts, and lots of people having a great time. Congrats and thanks to everyone involved.

everyone was dancing CRAZY!!! me and dan(playa24_7) kept the bartender busy until dan "refuelled" and started dancing like always (busting out moves never seen before). LOL

Fahad working his magic at the guestlist line-up. how did i get in after the bouncer said i couldn't??? (thanks fahad!) regardless, he was dancing sober like no tomorro. couldn't even stop for a drink!!!

PR rocks. Anyone who has ever came out on a PR night can witness the goodness that goes in that little corner of Waterloo.
The thing is, it was suppose to be a trance night and it turned out to be more of a house night than anything else. Mind you, the choons were bombarding the space and once the groove start settling in the room, people were dancing.
Dennis played Purple Haze - Adrenaline to Inertia - The Chamber to Josh Gabriel - Alive (dub mix) to Ferry Corsten vs The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia 2004 and that was like the best 25 mins or so of the entire night.
Andrew also played PPK - ResuRection (Space Club mix). I haven't heard that in a long time in a club.
