Official Sheffield United thread!

Seein as there's a thread about Crystal Palace I thought I'd do one for the Blades seeing as we are top of the league by 4 pts and are by far the best team in the league, some would say the country

I know there probly aren't any other Sheff Utd fans here but seeing as we are probably gonna beat every team in the league (as we are too good) I thought it'd be a convenient place to collect all my piss takes out of the fans from the teams we beat on the way to promotion

And I shall post here everytime L**ds lose (and maybe Sheff W*ds if I find out anyone here is a pig) as they are scum and I hate them and 4-0 you fuckin losers!!!

Up the Blades!

Isn't this the team that Sean Bean partially owns?

Owns?! OWNS!?!?!

He supports Sheff Utd and is an 'honourary' member of the board. I think he's put a bit of money in (emphasis on the "bit"!) but then so has my dad and no-one says he "partially owns" Sheff Utd just cos of a few shares! (Technically true I suppose)

Anyway, yes and no. Saying he partially owns it is stretching the truth considerably, better just to leave it as he supports them

Still waiting for Jagielka to leave Sheffield and move on to a premier league club.

ok cool...thanks for clarifying that. I just love Sean as an actor and actually met him as a kid back in England. He made fun of me for wearing an Everton shirt, even though they were defending FA Cup champions at the time.

How are the Blades doing this year? They almost made it up last season didn't they?

Er...we're top of the league by 4 pts!

We nearly went up in 2002/2003 when we finished 3rd and lost in the playoff finals to Wolves because Leicester cheated to finish 2nd by declaring themselves backrupt so they didn't have to pay for their new stadium, didn't have to sell any of their best players and got all their debts wiped out

Last season we finished 8th but we have a few new players this season who are all pretty good so we're probly the best team in the league now!

No need he will be with a Premier League club this time next year!

right on then...I don't pay much attention to the First Division to be honest...as long as Everton stay up, I'm happy. That could change this year though.

Just out of interest who do you support?

Suppose it wouldn't make any difference really seeing as you probly never been to see em in your life!

In fact, I bet I'VE been to see whoever you support more than you have!!!

Sorry can't accept that answer!

You thought you might be able to get out of it by sticking the Reebok Stadium a long way outside of Bolton but I've been to Burnden Park and can categorically state that no-one from Bolton can say owt about Sheffield!!!

We got you next week at Bramell Lane, should be a good contest, especially since we beat you there last year!!!!!!

Up the Rams!!!

I dont know why ppl support teams from a country they dont live in, or "lived" in. Saturdays wouldnt be the same listening or watching Derby!

Mt stupid mate had decided that he's getting married next saturday so my mum's having my ticket

Who gets married in the football season eh?! A "Coventry fan" who's been to one match in his life that who!!

I dont think Derby have a chance in hell of beating us next week tho! Our team is far far superior to the team last year. Our subs bench speaks for itself - Danny Webber, Michael Tonge, Vincent Pericard, Lilian Nalis - all top class players! Plus you sold that Rasiak and we signed some good players over the summer
