The videos are in the works and Kevin Willis is onboard for them again (sounding like there will be 2...maybe one around late December?)

So in case you somehow missed it, 2 DVD's are coming out on December 20--one for Parabola, one for Schism. Each has the corresponding video, as well as some remixes by Lustmord. I wish they'd just made them in one package, but whatever. You can pre-order them for $7 each on amazon. They've got the cover art on there now, too.


Also, the new suspicion is live DVD - 1/16, album - 4/4...not concrete (if only), but that's the going rumor right now, based on some new clues.

Yeah I heard about the Schism and Parabola DVDs already preordered mine. Thanks for the updates on the album and live dvd. FKKKKK ive been waiting for that live dvd for fkn ages. 4/4 for the album I want it now. Patience is not one of my virtues.


PS I'm curious to know where you get all this info. Its not on Tool's website nor on Adam's myspace page (that I can see)

The other TA...don't expect anything...it's all just guessing at this point...but about as educated as guessing about any of it is going to get.

I stopped listening to TOOL a while back, but I saw the word DVD and here I am ready to fuckin rock out again. I'm buying that shit at once!

"Look out for a new TOOL release, Spring 2006"


Looks like we were pretty dead-on with the april estimate.

My DVDs aren't here yet. Thats good fkn news though. Spring can not get here any sooner.

That depends on which "these" you're referring to...but everything in this thread is at least from this fall.

UPDATES:

1st off:
TOOL is officially headlining Coachella this year, going on as the last act of the festival, Sunday night. On a side note, Hybrid, Infusion, Mylo, Gabriel & Dresden, Carl Cox, and about 5,000 other acts will also be there (supposedly, Underworld & Massive Attack also might be added on). One way or another, I'm going.


2nd:

As of 2 days ago, the new album is completely recorded & mastered. It's only a matter of time now...

FK YH! I read the news on their website the other day. I hope they release the album in April. I wish I could make it out to Coachella but I'll have to wait until they tour the US in the fall. The anticipation is killing me.

I may just use some of my financial aid to go to Coachella.

I'm debating it now...I guess it'll depend a lot on what the tour schedule looks like. If I can see them 2-4 times at relatively close venues instead of missing a day of class (the week before finals) to see them at Coachella for close to the same price, I'll probably go with that, especially since almost nobody else here is willing to make that sacrifice, but for a couple nuts like me...hehe...But nonetheless, I'm just excited to hear that they'll be back out on the road again...oh, man.

New Album: 10,000 Days

Release: 5.2.06

I still dont believe that the album will be called 10,000 Days or that they have released the official cover art. The new logo looks like it says "FOOL" instead of TOOL. If indeed all this info regarding the album turns out to be true I really dont mind as long as the album is good.

According to this ARTICLE the first single will be "Vicarious" and it will be released to radio outlets on April 17th.
