sounds quite solid, nice ideas. Not my cup of tea though...
could become a nice house/progressive tune

Heya! Sounding pretty good here, really well done on the effects and the mixing in general.
It took a few days to figure out my reply because the first time I listened, there was something bugging me about it in general but it didn't seem very useful to post a comment so vague. I've since figured out exactly what it was that was bothering me: the bass.
I don't mean the bass *line* - I'm diggin' the rhythm and direction of it - I just can't get used to that instrument. Right around the 1:00 mark is where the bass sounds perfect to me; at the beginning of the track, it sounds kind of clicky, and after it starts to modulate around 1:15 - 1:30, the tuning gets pretty wacky on it. IMHO, if anything absolutely *has* to stay in tune in a house track, it's the bassline.
Sorry if that's not much help; I know that in the past, people have sometimes told me they don't like a sample/instrument, and it drives me nuts because I've already gotten used to it and anything else just sounds weird. But in this case I think the track really has a lot of potential and just needs a different instrument to reach that potential.
This is definitely the most original remix of the tune that I've heard so far - a little TLC and I think it could end up getting some serious airtime.
Keep us posted with your progress!
