Acura Type R by far for a fun/weekend car. If you can get your hands on a '97 ur a champ, since there were like only 200 of them made. But plz be EXRTA careful since my fiance's R was stolen right off of his driveway.

type R the rest dont hold a value.. plus type-R is quicker stock looks better and has better aftermarket parts.. my opnion i wouldnt waste my time trying to make it as fast as a turbo car i would just straight to a evo, sti, srt-4

None...don't like a single one of those vehicles. You couldn't pay me to even get a ride in one of them.

I would get an integra Type R

acura integra type r for sure...those things are pretty quick and really fun to drive

Get the 200SX. Rear wheel drive. Ohhh yeah.

{edit} Get the damn MR2. It's a real sportscar - 2 seater, mid-engine, rear wheel drive. Can't beat it, especially if the one you get has the 3S-GTE engine, unf unf.

get the 200SX.

the other cars are as slow as shit and they drive the wrong wheels (FWD)

They are also easier (and cheaper) to modify and go faster than the honda's. And you just can't beat the rush of a turbo'd car.

I've have a 200SX S14a, ill post pics tomorrow

Toyota Celica!

I'm not sure of the UK 200SX specs, does the Touring model have the SR20DET? If it has the SR20DE, don't bother.

Posted by dj_mdma on Sep-12-2005 21:56:

of course it has the SR20DET

if i remember correctly, all the European spec 200SX's had the SR20DET. The Japs had a choice of the SR20DE or DET.

The US got the KA24DE engine .

Ah okay, I wasn't sure if the UK got the J's, Q's, and K's spec for the S14(a) models.

And yeah, here in North America we got stuck with the KA24DE. At least in Canada we got the VLSD standard on all models, unlike the US.

all those are awesome, i would personally prefer the MR2
although, no backseat

Posted by teegee on Sep-13-2005 00:10:

integra type R, with the mr2 a fairly close second.

civics, preludes, and celicas are gonna be boring as shit.

plus, the integra is pure sex.

I don't know why people are recommending Integras over an MR2 or 200SX/240SX/Silvia. It boggles my mind. If you want super fun, why go FWD?

Posted by sym on Sep-13-2005 00:12:

the mr2 could be fun.

Amen. It's a poor man's ferrari and a lot of fun around the twisties. IMO, it's the best looking one of the bunch. The rest are merely toyz. Type R is nice but it's still an Integra(and fwd). And we all know Toyota > Honda. RWD ownz FWD anyday. I love making the back end of mine come loose.

BTW, here's my 91 mr2 turbo...

I would never sell it, unless I can get my hands on a better, faster mid-engine car. For now, it'll do(and it's definitely not staying stock-eventually I want at least 350+rwhp to the ground). Good enough for 11 second 1/4 miles and streetability(although I don't daily drive it anyway).

MR-2 is something I covet so that :P

BTW, here's one of the cleanest close-to-stock looking mr2s I've seen... I want mine to look that clean/shiny one day.

You'd be stupid not to want to be seen in that. Hell, I went to a club one night in my mr2(loudly playing some Agnelli & Nelson)and later that night, some random cute chick came up to me and asked about the song. But she said the car caught her eyes, then she heard "Hudson Street". That's pimp shit there.

Go with a Lexus.

ladies dig the giant fart-can exhaust, yeah?

Posted by wwu.punisher on Sep-13-2005 02:17:

If you can get ahold of a nice MR2, do it. You don't see a lot of them on the road these days, and they're badass cars. Anything Toyota is fun to drive.

Posted by Summer21 on Sep-13-2005 02:29:

I think the MR2 is ugly, how can that be sexier than a type R ( integra)?
