Listen guys, dont get so giddy over this mixer, because its primarily aimed at those DJ's who use Ableton. If you dont use Ableton or are not that familiar with it, dont waste your money on this mixer and instead get the Xone:92. Youll end up spending atleast $750 more on knobs and faders you wont use or dont know how to use.

You'd have to be pretty retarded to buy this and use vynil/cdjs with it...

Not everyone is as smart as you.

Im sure alot of people, like myself, at first glance are like... WOWO, new bigger A&H with more knobs, but this mixer is useless for people who dont use Ableton.

the side things are midi controllers...so i dont know what else you would use it for?

Damn, that thing is suuhhweweeeett....

The shuttles on the mixer...OMG. What a big help those would be!

I seriously want one now to use as I continue to learn Ableton...something I've been doing quietly for awhile now.

One day I'll have the balls to make a set I do available...need to get a lot more recent tracks, though...right now most are older ones from before I pretty much stopped getting singles and only worrying about live sets. Last couple legthy sets I've done (2-3 hours) have been pretty darn good, IMO, when I give it a listen afterwards. Still have a ways to go on mastering during the transition (equalizing bass/treble during the transitions so it doesn't sound wonky sometimes). :-p

Oh well, I'll dream of owning this mixer as I'm in Tokyo (leaving tomorrow morning for a week for the Tokyo Game Show).

Dave

It's not! It's a MIDI Controller that u can use with any Midi software. But it was made with Ableton Live! And Traktor DJ Studio in mind!

Which means using it with any other programs will result in a pretty crappy match.
