Infant Stabbed in New York City

A 10-month-old baby in her stroller was stabbed with a knife by a deranged man in New York City. The baby, Isabelle Avins, is in critical (but stable) condition at a NY hospital.

The baby's nanny was credited with saving the baby's life.

"He just came out of nowhere," witness Hennessy Arias told the New York Post. "The baby was hysterical, crying..." Bernard Derr, 48, with a history of mental problems, was arrested for the assault.

The 20-year-old nanny was praised by the baby's father.
"The babysitter saved her life. She's like a member of our family."

closer to home, an 8 year old boy was shot while in his bed in st. catharines. Stray bullet through the wall straight into his back. Sadly, he passed away.

There are a lot of fucked up people in this world and unfortunately we all have to deal with that. Fortunately though, I'm not one of those people.
