ToBeSignedSoon, RCMD L

Hi everyone, I sent out mp3 demos of my tracks to a bunch of djs/producers etc... I got a great email back from christopher lawrence (One of the top djs in USA) saying he really enjoyed my tracks, but his label would not be signing anyone at the time. So I was recommended to send out more demos to labels.

Now I am looking for TOP labels/producers/djs in california, please if you know any post there website or email here.

Mike

aright aright, here is the help:

he's probably not extremely serious in his comment, but was letting you down easy... i dunno how long you've been producing but if you want some honest feed back, post on TA, we'll give you the reviews as long as you're a contributer to our community.

instead of promoting the song you have right now, keep making tunes.

as for labels:
Bonzai
Armada
Euphonic
Anjunabeats
Black Hole
Equilibrium
Empire State
Trance Tribe
Trance Revolution
Somatic Sense
Platipus
Vandit
Discover
Mondo
Tsunami (Purple Eye Entertainment)
In Trance We Trust
ATCR
Fundamental

that's what i could come up with off the top of my head, but there are hundreds of labels out there

good luck

Also, if anyone knows any big djs/producers in cali.

I must say your music has nice melodies and harmonys, pretty sweet, and also is clean, but the production is a bit amateurish and old, this style was hiting hard some years ago, like 5 though, my sugestion, remix ur tracks to something newest and you are in .
Kopi =o.

Try to get something played by djs, after all they are the ones who make your music popular. If something gets picked up by a big one you know you're on the right production level and you can build from that.

Music isn't about getting signed you know.

Listened to some work, I'd say work on the eq.

yes I know that, but the reason I dont like to give out my tracks is because I dont want people to make copies of it and then get onto the p2p network. But then other then that, my music has been playin by some djs and etc...

Well, if you worry about that kind of things, you will never get a release i'm afraid. If dj's like your track and promote it a bit more, you are getting much closer to a release.

The reason I posted for help is because Im looking for labels.
comon people..

Posted by EtherealSL on Sep-17-2005 15:32:

you ARE getting help, Romi brought up a good point and you respond by correcting him on the word "worry" which only goes to show how overconfident you are with your music.

You've gotten plenty of help on this thread already, I've given you a bigass list of labels to start you off. What you need to do now is go back to the studio and whip up some tunes, post 'em online and then post a thread here for feedback. Us TAs will critique them and give you feed back, that's what we're here for.

Yes, of course... All the effort making a track gone to waste perhaps? I have so many tracks on p2p that I made for fun/passion and experience... Today's attitude towards producing really stinks *bah*
