Confused Bush 'caught short' at UN summit.. Bathroom?yeS? No?

Hillarious

quote:
Bush 'caught short' at UN summit
It's a situation anyone could find themselves in - having to answer the call of nature in the middle of an important meeting.

But when you are the US president, at a gathering of more than 150 world leaders, it is even more tricky.

While talk at the UN world summit was focused on terrorism and internal reform, George W Bush appeared to have been caught short.

And, he is said to have turned to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for advice.

"I think I may need a bathroom break? Is this possible?" a Reuters news agency photographer caught him writing in a note to Ms Rice.

The photograph, and Mr Bush's apparent request for permission to pee, has been the subject of discussion on a number of satirical websites.

President Bush was among monarchs, presidents and prime ministers for the opening of the three-day summit, marking the 60th anniversary of the UN.

In a speech, he urged the UN to pursue meaningful reforms to allow it to meet modern challenges and said the US was committed to helping overcome poverty.

When you got to go, you got to go. I am sure all politicians and leaders have bladders the size of Texas.
So what is the big deal?

Posted by Yoepus on Sep-15-2005 18:42:

so what happened????

did he pee??

the stress is unbearable!

Posted by Q5echo on Sep-15-2005 18:54:

no, Bush is to liquidX like Britney spears is to an adolescent girl

or maybe i got it backwards?...whatever

Posted by Lepanto on Sep-15-2005 19:08:

this is of no importance nor is is funny? he wanted to go pee but wanted to make sure if it's really alright to just get up and leave.

I found it hillarious, and this is floating all over the place. So I thought the most appropiate place to post this was on the Political Forum. I did not meant it for a debate, but to just bring the insight of situations like the one Bush came up with, when mother nature calls for an emergency and your in the UN.. your basically screwed hehe, but some of you Bush loyalist are so in depth into sucking he's balls that its merely a sin to post this.I thought people could understand satirical humor, but oh well, get used to it.. you'd most likely see this on Comedy Shows..

PS:And stop been so hypocritical and remember the times that Clinton got Impeached jeesz... Take a chill pill and stop sucking up he's balls for a second man ! heh.

It is funny! I laughed.

Watch this start some national security debate. Being able to take a picture of a note the President of the United States is writing? They're not going to let photographers back in there for a while!

Posted by metalgearsolid on Sep-15-2005 20:43:

Posted by occrider on Sep-15-2005 20:45:

Liquid do you proof read? hehe

I think it's telling that the president of the US - supposedly the leader of the world - after five years in the seat, has no idea what's appropiate in diplomatic circles, and need to consult with his advisors before going to the loo. Hell, I don't mind getting up in the middle of a meeting and going to the bathroom - no matter if I'm among superiors or not...

But then again, I had no respect for Bush before this, so I might be predisposed.

I was thinking the same. Bush could have confidential documents on the desk.

I think Condoleeza told him it was ok. That's what I read in the newspapers today.

And gee, you pro-Bush people, get a sense of humor, I bet you'd all laugh for days if the same thing happened to Kerry.
