Is ROVE a douchebag?
I just wanna know what everyone else thinks. Personally I find the guy so unfunny.. especially in those improvised situations like interviews.. says nothing funny at all.
Sure his introduction to the show isnt half bad, but thats all scripted anyways so it's not like he's doing much.
Does anyone actually like this guy or does he deserve Paulie's crusty nuts in email?
I never understood how this guy got anywhere. He doesnt seem to have much talent at all yet he wins gold awards. Probably says something about the state of Australian television at the moment.
But if the crazy frog can take over the world then i think sane human beings are outnumbered 10 to 1.
I dont find him that funny at all. But then again...how funny are any TV hosts. Jay Leno & David Letterman are pretty rank too. Rove appeals to the average Aussie family, if his humour was too witty people would find him difficult to watch.
I dont tune in to watch him....Conan O'Brien on the other hand is hysterical

There was a guy in Nandos last night who looked just like him.. he had the suit on and was just as vertically challenged. Poor dude.
i dont like those interview situations as well sometimes. the talk always goes stale after rove says some bodge joke the crowd take that extra second to get it.
letterman on the other hand is a genius. i think his a pissa.

oh please. if letterman is a genius i could well be the second coming. its pointless having a quick wit if your jokes are shit. and then theres his sycophant schaeffer on the sidelines \'oh yeah dave\' \'so true dave\' \'absolutely dave\' \'can i suck your cock dave\' at any of the lame jokes or observations letterman makes.
the guy is about as funny as testicular cancer.
having said that he is a good interviewer, and given his audience is american, one might not blame him for providing relatively shit entertainment.
down here we\'re lucky not to get rove (except on digital) so ive never seen enough to make a judgement.
yeh well i find him very clever and witty. its a matter of opinion.
in saying that i cant handle shaeffer sometimes
Conan O'Brain is the funniest out of the big 3 on American TV although he does like the sound of his own voice sometimes.
Ali G is the best interviewer by far
I don't mind him really, but if you want to see a good interview then watch Enough Rope. Denton is always brilliant imo.
compared to the alternatives rove isnt to bad, but i agree conan is defiantly the funniest of the american 3, fuck i hate letterman, i can deal with leno

He is not funny, he is not witty, he is not clever.

personally, i think letterman is the balls, same with conan o'brien. rove is tolerable in small amounts, but in all honesty, who has he got to compete with for the gold logie? i say give it to bert newton every year
he sold out after he left channel 31, he used to actually be funny (but offensive to the general public) - thats why John Safran put a fatwa on him (:
I like Safran better than rove, rove doesnt appeal to me at all, safran has at least something interesting to whinge about. I cant stand Letterman either.
so many letterman haters! how can you go wrong with segments such as 'will it float?' and 'is this anything?'???
i don't like rove much, i don't find him that funny, but i'm sure he's a nice guy 
i find most of letterman pretty brainless. yeah, sometimes, somewhere, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away there are some reasonably less than totally mediocre attempts at amusement, but youd have to stay pretty alert to catch one of them
and im sorry, but if you take all of letterman's fucking top ten funnies and tried to fill a top ten with the good ones, itd be an immense effort 
that said he supports Indy &/or CART american motor racing, so much love

I love tv and I don't care if people think it's shit... if I like it and enjoy it then that's all that matters to me
