na, thats not what we meant. my one word review was "disappointing." had tpod2 been released 6 months or more ago, it would have been mindblowing! but the fact that it takes vandit FOREVER to release shit made the album suck imo. its the same tracks we've been hearing and they've all gotten old. so tpod2 brought nothing new to the table.

thats why i said it was disappointing.

i would have to agree about if it had been put out 6 mos ago.. man that would have been something else... i thought the mixing was good and the tl was good as well. Also getting to hear stuff that has been out for a while it take me back....even if it wasnt all that long ago.. and that is what i really like about it.

Heard it today.. mmmmm I wasnt blown away. Some good stuff that I like, but other then that nothing like OMG PVD CD owns the hell out of me deal.. To be Honest, ISOS had newer stuff and I seemed to have enjoyed more, I was really lookinf forward to POD2.. but eehh.. apparently too much hype around it.

What does it say about an album if its so horribly dated after 6 months? I heard it the other day and thought it was cool, but I haven't really been keeping up with pvd in the last two years. *shrug* A nice listen, overall.

As I was telling Phil in AIM about these CDs, the track selection is very similar to what PVD has been throwing down in his 2005 livesets. IMO he's doing better this year than last, and that the only thing I disgress about these CDs is the fact that the pitch for all the songs is too low, but the songs rock. Other than that, no complaints.

First, im going to to agree with DA regarding the pitch, its to low. Second, i wanst that blown away by his track selection, but in all the CD is pretty good, IMO it wasnt like omg this shiet is the best.

i kinda agree with flo on this one. dont get me wrong, i love the new CD and think its a MAJOR improvement from reflections, but i dont think it lives up to the raw club-style energy of POD1. the first disc is good, but a little too slow for something named POD. Disc 2 picks it up a little but there are still some less energetic tracks. POD1 rocked your ass out for 2+ hours, i dont think POD2 does that at all.

but it does have Superfly on it, and im loving that track right now.
