[Uplifting]Maurice Anemaat - Fast Forward
Hi guys, long time no see! I've been quite busy with some things recently, but still found the time to finish the track I have been working on last 3 months. I think it improved compared to last tracks I produced, but I leave that decision up to you! Don't hesitate to post critics, everything is welcome. Thanks.

Hi,
Very nice track here. Very nice chicane-ish melodies. The synths are nice too. Good percussion. Now for some critisism. I don't like the melody you introduce in the climax that much. It also sounds a bit crowdy there. Work on those things some more. Also the ending is a bit abrubt, not that dj-friendly imo. Well, nice elements here, but it needs a bit more work i think.
Just listened to your track mate. I really like the build up of this track up to the 2 minute mark this really is a good track. Indeed a bit Chicanelike Then you introduce the lead sound which I do not really like.
The break itself is nice with the breakbeat. But underneath the lead you introduce another riff which does not seem to be in the same key as the lead so it sounds false. The whole lead section doesn't do it for me. It sounds muddy and hasty. Also what Romi just said the ending is not
Also one big suggestion, try to learn something about EQ'ing or mastering because the overall sound of this track is below average. It sounds muddy, no clarity (treble) whatsoever. Another kick would also do this track a lot of good.
Anyways really like the build up but overall the track does not hold my attention. With some adjustments (especially the mastering) it could sound a lot better.
Cheers and good luck with updating this track!
It's a bit quiet... bring the kick and the bass up a bit, then EQ and compress a bit.
The flow seems off. It seems to be barrelling through every change.
Very nice work on the breaks. Although keychangish thing is kinda weird.
Nomen and Romi covered everything else, I think.
hmm thanks for the tips guys. If some of you have any links to tutorials about mastering I would be very grateful. This is not the first time I hear this, and I really haven't got any idea how to improve my skills in it. Any other critics welcome as well! thanks...
