Saw this on another forum, though maybe there'd be one or two people interested. Don't kill the messenger if it's wrong, because Cielo's site doesn't have any October dates up yet. Same weekend as Carl Cox. I'm soooo pissed I'll be out of town for half of October.

And I expected you to be excited about this. Sorry. I'm at trial most of the month in Wilmington, DE so don't feel so bad. I'm really pissed i'm missing Carl Cox, because I haven't seen him and the last time he played here i was at trial, too.

I'm sure they'll be back sometime. Also, if they're in NYC, why would they skip DC? Just be on the lookout.

I'd be willing to bet that they play Pacha NYC in the future, since Morillo had them do Subliminal Sessions 8. Might not be until early 2006, though. I'm just speculating, though.

It's too small. They can easily bang out a packed Crobar house. I've never been to Cielo, but it's small. Very small. Swedish House Mafia deserves a big venue.

Cielo according to many and I agree has one of the best sound systems in the world. Also its small but it gives you more of a connection to the music and DJ which I like.

Its too soon to say who will be at Pacha but that will be nice. Ive been looking around and noticed that the 3rd weekend in October Morillo has nothing scheduled which means that may be the weekend Pacha opens. I know he is DJing that opening night.

It wasn't too small for James Holden, James Zabiela, Steve Porter, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, to name a few that I've seen at Cielo in the past 12-14 months. If it's on a Thursday, it's actually not that crowded, and everyone there is there for the music, which makes for a much more enjoyable crowd. -Winner, "Best Club", Dancestar USA 2004

I never said Crobar wasn't a good club. I go there all the time. I'm just saying there's more to picking which clubs to play than the occupancy. Also, I could never understand how Crobar got a lighting award.

Why not? Explain. If Sasha, Zabiela, Sander, Ferry, etc can play there, then so can SHM.

why are you so desperate to see them at crobar? cielo just seems more like their scene, that's all dude. why not be thankful like the rest of us that they are even gonna BE in nyc! seriously. i could care less where they play, you guys are lucky to see them. if i didnt have clinical every friday morning at 6:30 am, i'd be there in a heartbeat.
