KarateKid UnderRated Tiesto Tracks...

I know you all gonna bash the hell out of me,
But even if only one could join me it will be great.

Tiesto - Victorious
The track is really something. Wierd, but really beautiful melody is hiding in those strings. I really love this! one of the best tiesto's imo.

Tiesto - Olympic Flame
This track suffered some comments (bieng copied from Airbase, Rah - Pole Position). Although i think that it is true that some elements has been ripped-off, a new melody has been born! Nice emotional melody that brings me shivers from time to time. Same here, really good track if u took it at it is.

well, so what your opinion
(post some of your own "tiesto's unrated" or express opinins of mine )
maybe that was done before but i used the search and... nothing.

I agree, I love both songs but Victorious was one that stood out for me. It has very nice bass too. And I love turning the volume up all the way when the breakdown begins!

isn't Euphoria the one that is similar to Pole Position? maybe they both are, not sure. but Euphoria is quite a great tune even though it is like Pole Position. Shit, Pole Position was a great tune, the build up is so powerful but the break down was really crap. Euphoria is really like an incredible sequel to Pole Position with a great breakdown. I wouldn't say that it was a remix just from listening to it either. Just that some portions of the tracks are parallel.

another underrated (you did mean underrated right? .."unrated"??) would for me have to be Nyana. It did get quite a bit of attention, but not as much of the mainstream crowd got it, and for me this is Tijs' greatest production by far. Just such a powerful and original sound.

Considering Martin Roth & Frank Ellrich didn't actually do The Orange Theme in the first place OR the fact that Forever Today sounds nothing like it anyway it's kind of a moot point.

i dont know about the original but the martin roth remix is almost identical to forever today...the whole breakdown is like a cheap knock off....its sad. who made orange theme then? mine says it was made by martin roth & frank ellrich? or was this some old song like samuel barbers' adagio?

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Sep-17-2005 10:13:

Just because the tune has has a string section doesn't mean it's a knock-off. The melodies aren't similar at all.

The Orange Theme is based on the theme of the movie Clockwork Orange, originally turned to EDM by Cygnus X.

It is originally a piece for the death of Queen Mary back in the 1600s, it was composed by Henry Purcell.

All you gimps had better get researching past 2004... Yes thats right - he even had a career before he did a big concert! Shock Horror.

You might discover some REAL under-rated Tiesto tunes... under his old alias DJ TIESTO, ALLURE, CLEAR VIEW, STRAY DOG

A Tear In The Open (well, imo)

There's no such thing as an "underrated" DJ Tiesto tune.

Here's an underrated remix of Tiesto's

Delerium - Innocente

Roze - Our Love
Clear View - Never Enough
West & Storm - Moose
DJ Tiesto - The Tube
Hammock Brothers - Sea

I'd say those are underrated, today at least.

Not to forget Kamaya Painters, Gouryella and Alibi (team-ups actually).

Best track on POTA is Heroes. Love the pounding bass that comes into the chilly string (l). For the rest is a song of Tisto NEVER underrated <3

Today maybe, can't say they were underrated when they were released though. It also depends on what you hold it up against. Underrated compared to the stuff he releases today - yes. Underrated compared to other stuff released back then - no.

sarah mclachlan - sweet surrender (dj tisto remix)

one of his best IMO.
