When i download a song from this site...

hey guys...im having a little trouble...when i download songs from this site, it saves it as MPEG AUDIO, and not MP3, is there a way i can convert that? because the mpeg audio has a realplayer icon, and not the winamp one...
can this be done by renaming??

drag the file into an open winamp, see if it plays, coz i could be wrong but i think mpeg audio is mp3, so if it does play just rename to blahblah.mp3

yeah it plays in winamp, but with the file type as mpeg audio and with a realplayer icon (which i hate)

ok.. its a simple problem. Go into widows explorer (if you dont know what im talking about just go to run and type "explorer")

go to view | folder options

click the file types tab

scroll down to and double click on "mpeg audio"

in the "action" box there should be one called open...

double click on open and change the app used to perform action to winamp...
