Is there a Party Calendar for Paris??
Hello TA's in Paris!!
I will be visiting Paris from Toronto from Oct. 19 to 24 & wanted to know if there are any good progressive clubs / parties I can check-out that weekend??
If not, is there a WEBSITE I can check that has a Party Calendar for Paris?
ANY HELP is greatly appreciated!
Thank you sooooooo much!

Check www.lemonsound.com , and also www.parisbouge.com
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much!
If you had to choose the best 2 progressive underground clubs in Paris, which would they be?
Lol there aren't any progressive underground clubs in Paris, only electro/house clubs.
Anyway, if I had to choose I'd say Rex club for techno nights on friday and Redlight or Queen.
Oooops!! I guess I should have said 'progressive house'... sorry about that. *blush*
But judging from I've read so far, those sound like the ones to hit & with any luck, they'll bring in a special guest that w/e too! If not, I'm sure the residents do a fine job as well.
Thanks again for your help... you're a gem!

Hey, you know your clubs... I'm really impressed! There are so many people who live here that don't even know where Boa is! hehehee
Boa-Redux, System Soundbar & Footwork are the usual places... I'm not a big fan of The Guv cause they tend to overpack their venues, but I go there every so often because they bring in the big names. Just this past w/e Hernan Cattaneo & Paul Oakenfold were at the Guv... amazing music, but no space to dance & it was terribly hot... sort of beats the whole point of going!
Boa-Redux is currently in the process of moving locations... they closed their doors on Spadina in August & expect to reopen at a new location in early November. I really hope they do because Toronto's underground scene is hurting without Boa... it was Toronto's equivalent to Stereo.
As for Montreal, I agree with you 110%. Stereo & Circus are by far my favorite clubs in Montreal... I like Aria too, but it's a bit like The Guv (ie. overpacked & young). It's too bad Sona closed because that was a great place too. I try to get over to Montreal every couple of months to party... it's well worth the 5 hour drive.
They really do put Toronto to shame & I'm the first to admit it... where the parties finish at 10:00 a.m. in Toronto, they go on well into the afternoon in Montreal. Not to mention that the crowds are fantastic & they can rip it up on the dancefloor better than anyone I've ever seen!
Just this year I've partied in Toronto, Montreal, New York and Ibiza and I would have to say that Ibiza & Montreal are neck-to-neck as far as the quality... the only advantage Ibiza has is that the parties go on 24/7 whereas Montreal the crowds are much friendlier.
So... how does the scene in Paris compare to Toronto/Montreal? Are the people interactive? Is there a dress code or are running shoes allowed like in Canada?
One thing that i'm sure of is that all you canadian chicks (especially the ones from Quebec) are the most friendliest and hottest gals that i've ever seen in a big city like Montreal (and a cold one !)...French girls are way out of the picture when it comes to this !!!! This is one thing that WE (the guys who travel all over the world) should make'em learn... Ahhooyy canada !!
