(that's how I would bring my records from the UK) :lol One CDJ was on constant loop, the other was on CUE. He never swapped CDs and barely ever touched records. But once in a while he�d slap a record on only the right turn table but never put the needle down, pretend to cue it up and beat match in approx. 3 seconds. (wow!) :shock He�d pretend to fade that record in 2 minutes later, without any tempo adjustments. �amazing! On top of that he�d punch buttons, slide faders and twist knobs irrelevant to what what�s going on sonically. And here�s my favorite: the 360 degree jog wheel spin on the CDJ. He�d smack that thing so hard, I don�t need to tell you guys what that sounds like! :lol Also there�s no connection between the tracks and Howells, it seems like he�s heard them a million times and couldn�t care less. Doesn't a DJ absolutely love every track he plays? It's this extra juice that the listener can feel, the difference between a mix CD and a live set! Every fade lasts 20 seconds and sounds exactly the same. -monotoneous If you�re a DJ and you watch and listen closely over 3-4 changeovers you can tell if somebody is faking it. Is this going on at Avaland in LA or around the globe? I just want the DJs out there to confirm for themselves and then decide weather all this is OK or not. I myself don't like to be fooled. If you had a great time at Avaland as did I then it's cool. But I do believe that for $25 cover we deserve a real LIVE DJ set, especially from guys that we know can pull it off! :cry :cry :cry :cry :x |

why the hell would they fake it? there's no point in it...i was there...wasn't faked. please...danny howells fake? c'mon 
theres alligations of oakenfold doing the same in san diego a few years back, but i havent heard evidence of those. sad to see stuff like that though.
lol .. the only fake one is the ClubCrasher DJ that spun after Hybrid a week ago .. I don't know his name though .. 
Perhaps he just had a sore throat. or or maybe his drummer just keyed up the wrong track. wait i think im thinking about someone else....
ive actually heard about a couple of djs doing this. mostly buy people posting reviews. now i know some djs have two tracks already mixed together so that they may go to the restroom but thats totally acceptable unless you want your club experience to go something like this:

This is why 8 minute prog tracks come in handy

And theres this other thing called loop on a CDJ...that works too 
i saw max graham go to the bathroom during one of his sets...it was pretty funny.
he looped about 3 mins of his coldplay remix, left the booth, peed, made it back, and mixed. that was the 1st time i'd ever seen something like that
Ive seen Sasha do that too! Mixing while smoking a cigarrette, then loop a track and get off the stage.. It was funny cuz he wasnt even on stage and the crowd was still facing the stage and getting exicted over the buildups when he wasnt even there! LMAO Funny stuff!
I heard that DJ Faded fakes his sets. I became suspicious when I heard, "You're listening to A State of Trance with Armin van Buuren." during one of his recent sets. He also walked away from the decks but some how a perfect mix came out of thin air in his absence . Haters and faders get off me!
