Final Fantasy - Advent Childern (HOLLY ****!)

Just got this yesterday ... holly shit it's nuts. Hands down, the best CGI Movie by far! If you played FF7 back in the days and loved it ... your down with this film.

ur not alone dude .. i could never understand why, if it was the Final Fantasy, there are 6 or more sequels..

Same here. Well, i've played, and I watched my sister play em, but I never got into them - too little user involvement for me - it's all watch movie & repeatedly select 'summon GF'.

Im addicted to FF... the entire series...

I got FFI the day it came out by accident... and got hooked... got number 2 the day it came out... number 3 blew... number 4 wasnt bad... 5 was pretty good... six was kinda crappy... but 7 and 8 were awesome... If i had to rank em by enjoyment id say that it would have to go

1. FFI
2. FFVII
3. FFVIII
4. FFII
5. FFX

I spent a better part of my High School life on this game. It's one of my all-time favourites...

...and I didn't enjoy the movie one bit. Something about the plot just felt so shallow. Sure the movie had lots of style, and "cool" to it, but that's where it ends imo.

Actually, the name "Final Fantasy" came to be way back in the 80's when SquareSoft (the developer) was nearing bankruptcy, and this was supposed to be their last game; sort of a last-ditch effort, a "finaly fantasy". Needless to say, the game was very successful, and SquareSoft went on to being one of the most respected developers in the world.
