Well I just finished listening to it.
Overall it was a nice set. The intro was nice. But I was thrown off by the transition from the intro to TAS' "Go". I don't know if that's just your style. I didn't know what to make of it. Also, I was thrown off by the mixture of songs at 15:57 (I think you do it again at minute 41 or 42, I forgot). I was just more interested in hearing the Born Slippy breakdown.
Anyway, the track selection is good making the flow of the set enjoyable. Again, nice set, thanks for sharing.
Thank you thank you for the review! =]
The transition from intro to GO was intentionally abrupt. I knew that some would hate it and others would enjoy the creativeness.
I think the other parts you are talking about were either a wreck *blushes* [because there was one or two, ops] or when I sampled the break beats at the slow downs of the trance track. That was my first time trying to throw in a break beat so it was hard to get it just how I wanted it. I must have practiced it a million times but it still turned out kind of abrupt also. Live an learn, right? I'll always be trying to push the bounderies to see if people like what I come up with and I enjoy experimenting, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
Im working on another set so please keep your eyes open. This one wont have anything as crazy as the backspin or break beats- just straight trance. Thanks again for everybody who listened, I appreciate it a lot!
