Remixing....
Ok I have tried the search but I did not find what I was looking for, so please dont flame me!
Anyways...
I wondering how you remix tracks. Is it possible to take a song apart when its in a wav format and then put it into FL studio or something? Is there a way to get all the samples out of the song and into a single channel.. or the way they are sequenced?
Please help me!!!

Its near to impossible to do that. as mentioned by analog a.
You may do as much EQ-ing to it, but you will not be able to split everything, blurring it is possible, but it blunts the sound out terribly.
Maybe start with your own work instead of remixing ( assume you're new to producing ), you'll learn more and with experience on hand you'll be able to start remixing. thats my 2 cents.
I think it's good to remake a track if you want to work with wave files from the original one. Though to make a full remix I think it is better to start from scratch with your own sounds and preferably some midi files of the original track that will give you the scores from that track.

I'll give you a Workshop on how to remix right now in some easy steps ... and you don't neccesarily have to have single Tracks from the original song ... But this limits you to what you can and cannot remix ...
1. Sample Songs that you can tell by ear have "Sample" ready Material ... Example ... I'll sample a song that only has the pad playing during the song ... I'll sample that pad for my remix ...
2. Make sure it Beatmatches ... Sure you can beatmap it, But even After Beatmapping, sometimes your sample isn't a 100% loop ... so watch it ...
3. SAMPLE SAMPLE SAMPLE ... I know it's bad to sample ... but if you want to remix ... Just sample the main parts ... "Pads" "Melody" ... and go from there ...
Build up everything else around what you've sampled ... in a strange sortof way ... you've given yourself all the sounds you need ...
It works for me ... and As soon as I can Find a good place to upload some of my remixes ... I'll show you ...
Thanks for all the replys!
