Great track man! Really got a kick out of it. the 4:45 drum re entrance...I suck at reviewing tracks I just enjoyed the mix of simple and interweaving themes. Thanks!

commenting while listening..

the drums sounds a bit dry.. nice piano thingie.. the kick needs more low end, and more impact imo... nice breakdown.. me likes.. the kick fits better now, but im still not sure i like it.. give it some punch.. now it sounds kinda overcompressed.. at 1:43 everything kinda dies.. make the transition smoother.. or add a bigger crash.. ok, breakdown.. nice strings.. melody coming in.. me likes.. no it didnt just the string melody.. lol.. i like the fill before the takeoff..
everything is about "the same" onwards... i lke the tune, tho it needs more work imo.. keep up the goodwork "

edit: no it wasnt, but i had to go lol.. put a wheelbarrier and a hub on the wheel of my car lol :P

K thanks for the reviews so far..

as i havent "properly" begun to distribute the mix, i was thinking about taking it back in, remastering a bit, tweakin the kick etc etc..

lets try and do this so i can get people spinning it!

thanks a lot for the feedback guys!

Heya DinoXpressasaurous

Funky tune

The bass drum needs more lower end
The high lead could do with some reverb

1:00 nice bass.

1:13 great echoing sample!!

1:40 nice bass cut-off.

2.20 I like the break.
great progression & build up.

great layering & perc grooves.

shyerr, love the "bum yerrr" sample.

great work mate. Seems like some more filtering work is required. The low end is lacking. More Bass would make this tune killer. The High lead is OK. Maybe some reverb & phase filter here & there could make it interesting.

Nice. Really likeing the synths and percussion. Lots of change throughout makes it easy on the ears. Nice driving bass, too.

320 kbps is more than enough. 192 would do just fine IMO.

The tune is really polished now !

For starters, very good drum arrangement for what you're going for. The drums need to be a bit rounder and less dry, but the beat is there.

The little organ part needs some thickening too.

The first break sounds great. I might add some more echo (or diversify it) to the low sample. The re-entrance of the drums was nicely done.

Generslly well done, and the song is nicely arranged. I think overall you need to thicken some sounds, and give them more warmth, but the concept is definitely there.

Very good track, I do like the breakdown a lot.
I'll agree with tribu, it just needs some thick(er) and warm(er) sounds.

Good track!

hmmm sweet stuff man. the main drive (or lead, dno, whatever) is really catchy, combined with some nice breaks and a solid melody. that's how I like my breaks.

btw, it's really funny, i've been listening to a couple of new trance sets the last few days, and there is hardly a tune that really caught my attention. And today I listen to some stuff on this board and it's all great!
keep it up everyone here, you're keeping my trance scene alive

Posted by mezzir on Oct-06-2005 23:50:

lol ya listen to tree
love the concept and the melody and whatnot, and esp. that sample at 1:15 or w/e
but yeah, drums sound way too dry for my tastes
and maybe a tad bit more reverb or some delay on the lead synth?
idk
love the sound, just doesn't quite do it for me
comin along great though

hummm theard the mix. frankly i have never heard he Orignals so i dont know whats the major change in it. sounds cool music to me. But yes like others say the Volume problem is still there ... i had to max up my speakers to get the compleat feel of the music ..

Saw your Setup on bedrom dj pic. F****ing sexy Numarks mannn ...

Keep tripping.

i've never heard orginal could you post it here?

imo good song even if i don't listen to these kind of tracks =]

Posted by richg101 on Oct-09-2005 14:44:

nice drums and an original style. loads of atmosphere. i think a better synth tone for the main melody would make the track a hell of a lot stronger. maybe something similar to the other sounds used during the break. i like the guitary sounding bass line. would be good to have a deep low bass drone behind it tho. bit of delay/reverb on the main melody wouldnt go a miss...

very clean sounding work.

thanks for sharing.

woooooooot! Gredder Greg! you r0ck!

This tune pwns me! I'm on my 3rd listen.

I'd like to hear the original too, Greg, so if you get it up let me know somewhere, please. I'd like to compare original with the remix just for the fun of it.

So, yes, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's got enough diversity to keep my interest.

Question (an maybe PsyT will help me with this if he's in irc later)...what genre?

I'm trying to learn to distinguish between the different genres now.
