how to shrink clothes?

ya this is an odd question. But...I have some expensive jeans that are too big for me. Can't take em back. I tried washing them on the hot/cold setting on my washing machine, and it didnt really do anything.

Any other options?

they probably were pre-shrunk. Just wash them on hot/cold, as soon as it's into the wash cycle, switch to warm/warm, and dry on high heat. That's the best you can do really. If they won't shrink, they won't shrink.

You could have them tailored or just eat lots of junk food and don't work out?

an ol' greasy catfish poor boy with tomatoes, heavy lettuce, and mayonaise and tartar sauce ..

there was a local restuarant called 'stop till you drop' that sold those .. foot long catfish poor boys ..

i miss new orleans food ..

well i think it does. really what is the idea behind turning it on warm in the dryer? basically the same principle as ironing on a high setting...

if you iron items on the setting your supposed to iron them on they aren't going to shrink, but if you spray them with water and apply heat...how is that any different then shrinking them in the wash? if he's not having luck with shrinking them in the wash i say give it a try with an iron and some water...
