More then 100,000 protestors march in Washington against the war in Iraq!!!

Another demonstrator, 60-year-old Paul Rutherford, said he was a Republican who still supported President Bush, except over the war. "President Bush needs to admit he made a mistake in the war and bring the troops home, and let's move on," he was quoted by the Associated Press as saying. Bush appeal Among those joining the protest was Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq, whose protest outside President Bush's Texas ranch during the summer mobilised many anti-war supporters. "We need a people's movement to end this war," she told the crowd. "We'll be the checks and balances on this out-of-control criminal government." President Bush appealed to Americans in a radio address last month to be patient. "Our efforts in Iraq and the broader Middle East will require more time, more sacrifice and continued resolve," he said. Meanwhile, anti-war rallies were also being held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and in major cities across Europe. British police said around 10,000 people took to the streets in London, although organisers put the figure at nearer 100,000. A small rally was held in Paris, and in Rome dozens of demonstrators held up banners and peace flags outside the US Embassy.

About 100 people had gathered before a stage set up on the eastern portion of the mall as the noon rally began. A large photo of an American flag served as a backdrop for the stage, and country music blared from speakers while other banners and signs proclaiming support for U.S. troops waved in the breeze.

I wonder if you know what kind of message that would send to all the terrorists if we were to pull out of Iraq now and give in to their demands. I think it would send a clear message that the US and other supporting nations are like cowed dogs that roll over on their backs exposing their belly for further attacks. Are you some kind of idiot to think that if we pull out now that it would stop them from continuing their so called "Jihad" against the US and others not of their faith and beliefs.

People can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and attack the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.

Who told you they were terrorists? The media? Your 2nd grade school teacher? Just who are you trusting to tell you this? You're trusting the same people that told you that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction� in Iraq when there are none.
