Crappy Birthday

This is the 4th time i have gotten scarlet fever, and each time i get it on my birthday. in the last 4 years, i have stopped looking forward to my birthday, knowing the fever is gonna strike once again.

For those of you who have no idea what Scarlet Fever is, just do a simple google search and you'll see why I dont enjoy my birthday as much as i used to.

So, how has something like a medical disease or otherwise wrecked your birthday? Share your experiances...

I relive the same day over and over again,like in that film groundhog day.
I have posted in this thread a few hundred times,and haven't seen my birthday in what feels like an eternity.
Yesterday(today.. but yesterday), I got absolutely lashed,and today had no hangover,no substitute for a b/day though

I have a terrible diseaes that makes every birthday extremely dreadful...arsonophobia. Also known as 'fear of flame'.

So each year means another candle to the cake and my curse gets worse and worse.

One day I suspect that my birtday will also be my deathday. How ironic.

i think you should get that checked out or something.
don't they have a cure for scarlet fever ?

that's an old skool disease.

hey .
no changing the topic to appleIIe ..

although that was an awesome system with it's green monochrome screen and floppy disk on the side ..

i remember it well, because it was that computer i started to program in BASIC ... boy i am a nerd .. ..

anyone remember the old BASIC days, where you had to number each line of code you typed, and had to specify jump commands to specific lines ..

but happy birthday to you dude, and hope you find a cure ..
