How To Burn Music Vids As S/VCD???
Hello Everyone.
I got a question, how do i burn music videos that are in m2v,mpg or avi formats as VCD. So they work in a DVD player?
Apparently you can use nero to do this, i am going to try it out now
Yep nero should do it. Just use the wizard, and select other format and video cd. And put in your mpeg, it should convert it for you
Does it support M2V Files too?
try going here for more help

as far as I know, any type of video file can be manipulated and burnt to work using two programs...
Ulead Video Studio
Roxio Easy CD Creator -or- Nero
sometimes the format of the movie is wrong (ie size, quality, whatever) which can be corrected using Ulead and then when everything is good just burn it using Easy CD or Nero.. its really easy once you get the hang of it.

i really would like to burn some vids and watch them on tv, but my dvd player doesnt support cd-r,cd-rw
but i heard of some kind of hacks so you can use cd-rs
any suggestions?
oh btw: it is a sony - dvp s335
Well....i also use NERO...
If your video is MPEG1...then select VCD.
If M2V (MPEG2) then Super VCD.
That should do it... i think nero does a very good job.
About AVI format.... you have to convert the video to MPEG1 for (VCD) or MPEG2 for (SVCD) .... I recommend SVCD...always better quality.
In order to convert, i reccommend you use TMPGEnc.... it's probably the easiest and very good.. To get the program....go to vcdhelp.com
And if you want instructions on how to convert them... go to vcdhelp.com .... you might loose some of the quality when converting that... But TMPGEnc is very good at trying to keep the quality.
Good luck.
If you have any more questions ...don't hesitate to ask

I just tried what flystyler posted....and it also works that way too..
but you will only record as a VCD...and not SVCD..plus ...your options are limited...such as a menu..
It depends on what you want.
Damn I can't play svcd cd on my dvd player.
