Ryan G - Supernova(incl. Sonicvibe Mix) [First Second Records]

Finally, this long overdue beauty gets released on Misja's label
The original is a no nonsense melodic trancer with a sweet bassline and very uplifting lead synth.
Sonicvibe's remix reminds me of Super 8's Cre8. This hasn't really got to me and will take time to grow on me. A tad more uplifting than the original.
Will be playing this out.

Long overdue is an euphemism...Supernova was supposed to be released in May and the first time I heard it must have been nearly one year ago!
I personnaly prefer the Sonicvibe remix, it's a bomb

Original is a top 1. Champions League of uplifting trance; very strong buil-up. Nice bassline. Sonicvibe Remix cant be as good as original.

i like this release, and i do like the original better then the remix.

original mix really is one of those happy happy joy joy exposure trance tunes haha, it just sounds right and could be good to dance to in a club. especially to build-up a good and clubby trance set this release is a must have... it�s not really anything new howver, as I nowadays like to hear releases that try different things in the genre.

sonicvibe remix is the same story basically, it�s good remix that is done very properly but nothing unique or new to it though! it is like a more laidback version of the original

conclusion: good release but nothing you couldn�t live without

The scene has moved on a bit I guess since writing it - but I'm glad you guys are liking it.

Sonically the vinyl sounds like shit. Has to be the worst quality pressing I have heard all year. It needs a repress!
