Dave Seaman - This Is Audio Therapy - 2 x CD - Out Now

Dave Seaman
This Is Audio Therapy
Double CD , 2 x 12 Ltd Vinyl

Blimey. Audio Therapy is five years old already and by way of celebration head honcho Dave Seaman has mixed together a compilation of exclusive new material and unreleased nuggets from the labels archives.

The CD titled 'This Is Audio Therapy' features material from esteemed artists such as Infusion, Hybrid, Kosmas Epsilon, Phil K & Habersham and of course Dave's own Group Therapy project all mixed together with perfection. As an added bonus the second CD is unmixed and features full length versions of some of the highlights of the mixed CD together with exclusive remixes from Tonedepth & Stel, Trafik, Oliver Moldan and Steve Porter.

The CD looks set to firmly establish Audio Therapy as a label synonymous with quality that attracts some of the biggest production names in the electronica scene and confirms that Audio Therapy is one of the key independent labels. Moving with the current market demands the unmixed cd will cater for the growing number of DJ's who have moved away from the world of vinyl to cd's.

'Vinyl sales as a whole have been dropping over the past 12 months and we as a label have to be aware of where the market is moving. The digital format has evolved very quickly and it would seem that less and less people are buying the vinyl format. But, I still think that people like to hold and see a product at the end of the day as opposed to a computer file. The unmixed CD will satisfy the demand out there for Audio Therapy fans and will hopefully bridge the gap for people moving away from vinyl but still wanting an end product. The format worked well and was warmly received for the Across Borders CD release we did last month and as with that release we will also be doing a limited edition 2 x 12 vinyl run.' Says Dave.

i just got back from seeing Dave tonight. i hadn't seen him before and had some high expectations for him. his set started out a bit scattered and didn't seem to be going anywhere, but then the last hour or so he kicked it up and banged it out...so i think that saved the night and i'd say it was a nice show hehehe

Pryda - Aftermath...BAM!! huge towards the end
