James S. Levine / Nip Tuck
There is a piece of music that frequently gets played on Nip/Tuck, usually during 'sad' scenes, like that of Meghan's funeral in season 1 for example. After a bit of digging I found this quality little nugget of information listing every song played during the show's episodes: (although it seems to be down right now)

...and as such deduced that the track I am after is by a James S. Levine titled simply 'Instrumental.' Does anyone have any information regarding a release of this track, or if not then perhaps the whereabouts of a decent sized sample?
As well as this, there is also a track called Giddy Up by Indo which was played during the scene where Christian knobs Kimber for the first time in the pilot episode. This is supposedly unreleased, but does anyone know if a decent sized sample of this can be found anywhere too?
Thanks!
I think I heard somewhere that a song will be included in the special features section of the season 1 dvd...that might be your song. Dunno anything beyond that, sorry.
I don't know if it is the same piece that was played at Christian's "funeral" in Season 3's opener. But, it is a reoccuring theme that was used a lot in Season 2. Really powerful, and somewhat reminded me of a piece done in Memento. I just wish they opened the show up with the Gabriel and Dresden Remix of Perfect Lie.

I've checked through the special features and unfortunately it's not there. I did however rip the audio from Meghan's funeral scene if either of you two (or anyone for that matter) would like it. It actually made quite a decent sized sample of 1 minute 39 in the end.

Mikey, have you seen Memento? This song is so similar to the scene where Guy Pearce's character is burning all his wife's "old stuff". I really enjoy this kind of music. Do you know of any similar songs? Talk about goosebumps.

Having never seen nip/tuck can't help too much. But I was curious to see if this is the famous classical conductor. I am pretty sure it is... Anyway, you gotta see a pic of him, he looks like a fatter Richard Simmons.
