Ever consider that Jump The Next Train refers to relationships? Going for a girl when you're afraid she'll say no? Emotional suicide maybe? Not physical? Personally I think "Jump The Next Train" refers to taking a chance and going for a girl -- look at the rest of the lyrics, not just one line. Just think about it

the original lyrics in southern sun are 100% about suicide... beautiful things is very possible but i can't see much about suicide other than the word itself (which sounds more like it's intended as a metaphor) in jump the next train

Blink 182 is UNDERGROUND?!

No offense buddy but they are the farthest thing from being underground, every kid that goes to middle school and high school all around the world knows about them.

im lawlerskating all over this thread. blink 182 is EXTREMELY commercial in america. whoever suggested jan johnston - flesh as a suicide song made a great choice... however im really drunk right now so you shouldnt hold my opinion too high

Beautiful Things isn't about suicide, although it sounds like it. Dave Dresden and Mavie Marcos personally posted in a thread some time back to say as much. It's about regret.

Southern Sun is totally about suicide (and I want the original tiesto mix pressed to vinyl, dammit), as is Flesh.
