Tiesto in Lebanon! Another success or failure in Lebanon?

quote:
Tisto
In search of sunrise 4 World Tour

After hosting the biggest events in the Middle East and taking clubbing in Lebanon to a new level with Paul Van Dyk Live in Lebanon (sold out event of 7500 tickets), Mix FM and Bacardi Breezer are proud to present the Worlds number 1 DJ for 3 years in a row: Tisto Live in Lebanon on October 1st at The Forum de Beirut as part of his In search of Sunrise 4 world tour.
After winning almost every dance related award in 2002 a crown was put on Tistos career by being voted the number 1 DJ in the world in DJ Magazine's top 100.
In 2003 Tisto has won 3 TMF awards (Holland & Belgium), 2 Dutch DJ awards, one MTV Holland award, and was again number 1 in DJ Magazine's top 100, first time a DJ got this spot twice in a row!
He repeated this achievement in 2004.
Tisto is now officially the first DJ in the world ever to sell out a stadium event with a solo performance for over 75.000 people.
In October 2003, Tisto was approached by the Athens Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (ATHOC) for a DJ-performance of 90 minutes during the parade of the athletes, a part of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
Tisto Made Olympic history on Friday, August 13, 2004 when he becomes the first DJ ever to perform in an Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. Some 4 billion people watched the planet's premier sport event, when the 28th Olympiad of the modern era opened in Greece. No DJ has ever performed at the Olympic Games.
The Dutch Man is coming to rock you for the first time ever in Lebanon, an event that is expected to hold up to 15,000 people, making it the Biggest Ever Single Artist Event in Lebanons History. This event will highlight a never seen before set up.

Tisto Live in Beirut features a Customized Mega set-up (11,000 m2 transformed into One of the biggest & most impressive venues in the world)
- A new dimension in sound design

Okay everyone, I was a HUGE fan of tiesto until the 15, Sep 2005.
He's shite... that's all I can say until the moment...
well... what i want to know, was it another "success" as n00bs say or was it a failure just like "Heineken Thirst featuring Tiesto & Sander Kleinenberg Live in Concert"
So what i want from the lebanise to tell use was it or wasn't it?
and tell us the details please!
Ahhhhhh one more thing, tiesto was a failure not Sander Kleinenberg!

Ok.

i haven't heard a recent tiesto set or CD, but if i had the chance, i'd spend the money like some people spend money to sit in a boat in the sea to have the fireworks explode directly above them. I'd have a blast looking at all the visuals and monitors corresponding to the music

Why? There was nothing different about him before this date, and there is nothing different about him now after this date. You, along with many, seem a bit of a moron.

Tiesto isn't a dj, he's a popstar

So that means you won't like Britney either

You obviously have forgotten about the Tiesto in 99 and 2000.. besides.. I think you should know that seeing a dj live for the first time usually makes or breaks a djs reputation in a fans view.

Tiesto was good up to 2002, but after that it all went to his head and he went downhill bigtime.

I havn't forgotten anything. Infact, that is one of the time periods I remember very well. His mixing was just as appauling then as it is now.

Oh wait I forgot, the music was so much better back then maaan.

Haha, you really think you are the best mixer huh ?

In the world? Obviously not. Than Tiesto? Well that's not particularly a hard thing to achieve is it, even if you are a bit shit.

Yet he is the one playing in front of 16 000 people just this weekend while you are the complete loser on tranceaddict all day talking your trash about the big djs.

The ratio of time spent doing the jesus pose to time spent mixing was the same back then as it is now.

he put in effort when he was tryin to get big, and once he accomplished that he just went downhill imo.

in 99-2000, the tracks that were out were awesome, so it seemed good

Posted by nchs09 on Oct-03-2005 17:18:

yes but all im saying is that there has clearly been a decline in the quality of tiesto. dont get me wrong i never said he was teh best @ anything. i would say he had some good trackselection others didnt @ the time. now a days hes just an regular joe

Tru that.. There are a billion bedroom and pro djs out there who are better than Tiestor in every aspect of dj-ing and production.

i knew trance music was a bit popular in lebanon lately and they play asot down there, but im not too sure how popular tiesto will be down there
