[!!!trance] Luminaris - The Pulse Fleet

hey all,
Been a long time since I last posted, sorry... Anyways, here is a track I've been working on for awhile, looking for some feedback on it. I hope it's at least half-decent to your listening tastes. Thanks,
Daniel

c'mon guys what is this a popularity contest or some honest critics? i humbly ask for just a little feedback criticism and/or advice.

Hey, listening to it now...

- Really liking the melody, but I think you might be able to use some better sounding instruments
- I think using a less 'clanking sound' would be nicer for your precussions
- Break sounds sweet
- I think it needs more attention to the overall sound of the track.
Have you fine tuned this yet? Would sound awesome if you did

Overall nice track.

hey marcusk, thank you very much for your review, I appreciate it a LOT. About the clanking percussions, will try to fix that, don't know how though... As for instruments, I'm stuck with all these regular ones that come with FL5 and would love some information on where to get some new synths for FL5, And yes you're right, I have not yet fine tuned it, still have to get mastering and such done. Anyways, keep 'em coming! :-D

Thanks again!

Great job m8..the percs sound a bit to hollow and high on the reeverb and the bass sounds to low sometimes..other than that i LOVE it man. good job.

Man I completely agree with MarcusK, this tune has awesome potential, the synth lines and layers all work brilliantly together and tune-wise it sounds fantastic!
Concentrate first on the mix, there's a lot of layers in there and volume-wise it all seems a little random. The kick and bass is very soft. The other layers, of which there are heaps, all sound a little indistinct and need some EQing to separate them.
If you spend a bit of time paying attention to all the details you'll have yourself a kick-ass tune!

thank you tons, you're too kind! I worked hard on the melodies / synthwork so I'm glad to recieve such positive feedback on that, i'll try to phatten up the percs volume wise and frequencywise and such and the bass eq-wise as well, the bassdrum i'll add a bigger click / punch but it's already got quite a fat low-end trail after each kick...
