weird lineup

Posted by Thois on Oct-03-2005 18:16:

they really fucked things up at id-t, first there is dj jean at sensation white and now... this (jeugd van tegenwoordig, mainstage etc).

i would be surprised if the party would not be canceled (not expecting too many ticket sales)

imo only sander kleinenberg is worth watching

Posted by jp on Oct-03-2005 18:22:

Well it's something different but I don't think 35000 people will like this line-up so much they would buy a ticket

would it be that most in NL like their stuff a little bit harder?

I think that is great lineup. I can use a lil trance in there.

They 'forgot' the hardstyle area. A loss of/for 10.000 people

That looks rather good. I'm surprised that an event like IC has gone for such a low superstar DJ-factor, but the music will benefit all the more from it.

Damn all you Dutch for getting a line up like that

Yeah, my thought as well, though as jp mentioned, it's a gamble on revenue.

I remember hearing that Innercity last year was a dud, fatally lacking the spirit of previous years. I think organizers made the right conclusion that this was because the techy core of IC was getting diluted with big-name trance and progressive headliners. (Gabriel & Dresden and Blank & Jones never belonged at Innercity, for example.) The total exclusion of anything trance-related in this lineup is probably a little reactionary, but also the right direction for them to bring IC back to integrity.

ok, i understand not booking big trance names like Armin, Tiesto or Ferry but why not guys like Marco V, Randy Katana, or Roland Klinkenberg?

Posted by Thois on Oct-03-2005 20:51:

47,50 euro?? that is sick, greedy bastards... This is the end of ic

Posted by Excite on Oct-03-2005 21:06:

yeah, that lineup is worth maybe 35 euros max..

I might pay that to go. A little steep, but possible.

Higher prices seem pretty common stateside for lesser events. I'm not sure how it compares in Europe.

good riddance
with trance gone, there is no way but up
with it, just dig your own hole deeper

Posted by dartrance on Oct-04-2005 17:33:

who the hell are these guys on the mainstage?

LOL

Innercity is not even going to get close to the # of people they used to if this is the lineup.
