What happened to A State of Trance??

I've been away from the scene for a few months now. And I recently found out ASOT is no more for download (it's a liveset, I hope I'm not breaching any rules here by talking about 'downloads')

What happened to ASOT alltogether? The playlist is no more on Armin's. I can't get any info that I want. I thought I'd ask the TA forums since you all probably know.

Thanks.

Armin retired to spending thursday nights tending to his prize pumpkins at his allotment in the hague.

It went to shit like 150 episodes ago, if I were you I'd probably stop listening.

But seriously...

Ian is lying of course.

Armin has had some legal troubles. He was convicted of having sex with a 15 year old girl (16 is the legal age). So far, van Buuren has maintained his innocence, and he and his lawyer have been vehemently appealing the result based on the fact that the girl misrepresented her age. It's been an interesting case to follow, actually. Let's all hope the higher courts see the light and free Armin!

seriously, they're not pumpkins, they're potatoes

Well, I just want to know why'd they change it all up. Like I heard sets are not for purchase somewhere. Can't even find it from armada or his website? Maybe I am just lost.

Just any info on it helps. I am a big fan of his show.

Actually truthfully, Armin couldn't carry on ASOT for free, so he ditched it for a paper round to pay for treatment with the "Advanced Hair Studio"

Ohh, and yes the show still airs, only you have to listen to it on di.fm. Since theradiodepartment.com owns the licensing rights to the show everyone else had to quit with the torrents and broadcasts. And since I'm nice enough, if you'd like the track listings for each show look in the ASOT radio show forum on Armin's site.

We had to go through six utterly pointless replies to help this poor fellow. Amazing. Thank god someone has a brain.
