who are filo and peri?
Bo and Domenick met through a mutual friend from trance.nu. After just one week in the studio together, the two had created their debut release entitled "Elevation". The production was good and they decided to work on more projects as a team, something that neither committed to lightly. After giving "Elevation" to Armin Van Buuren at the Roxy nightclub, NYC, they soon received a deal with Armada records. The Filopei/Pericic collaboration now known simply as "Filo & Peri had finally arrived.
In the seven short months the boys from New York have been around, they have signed twelve 12" inch singles and completed four remixes with several more in the works. They have reached number one on several Dutch sales charts and their most recent single Whirlpool Under the Sun was played by nearly every trance DJ in the world. With a steady schedule of upcoming releases, a full album coming in 2005 and a mission to establish America on the trance scene, Filo & Peri have seen the industry take an increasing interest in their product. Be on the lookout for them, as you'll surely hear their tracks being hammered by likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, and by the boys themselves. With a sage blend of anticipation and determination, Filo & Peri look forward to the future as well as the opportunities it will bring...

It's on, though I haven't made a costume yet. I think it will consist of a fake mustache and a t-shirt that says 'mustache rides $.25'. lol. See you guys tonight.

Reviews??
I was there. It was 'alright'. In my opinion it was quite slow going, and actually, even by the end of KT's set the place still wasn't quite warmed up. I don't know, might just have been my perception but I've been to Bleu before, and seen quite a few of KT's shows and this one was just a bit... off? On the other hand maybe it was just the slightly different 'halloween crowd'? For example, during Filo & Peri's set- they played Ernesto & Bastian's 'dark side of the moon' (the [weird] Axwell & Ingrosso mix) followed by their track 'dance with a devil', and right thereafter about 40 people just up and left. wtf?
two things though for anyone else who went:
1 - Did anyone notice that Filo & Peri played a remix of that Celldweller track 'switchback'? Interesting.
2 - How great was the rainbow bright costume? (the bartender version)
I hope your saying you like that 'dark side of the moon' track...while its definetely different...i have yet to see people not blown away by it...yeah, the rainbow brites were looking sexy that night...there were three, and ofcourse one in particular had my eye
dark side of the moon was actually the hilight of my night
rock your body rock was awesome too! =)
Nah, I didn't mean that the track was bad, actually kind of the opposite. A ton of people left after they played two big tracks back-to-back and I was saying that was strange.
As for that mix of Dark Side of the Moon, I like it, I just think it's weird- I'm think I'm just used to the original and the dogzilla versions.
Yeah, the version he played is the one i dig, and i like it because you have this pretty catchy vocal, and its rather trance-like, which especially in my sets is odd, then just when your saying, what is this...bam...wtf! I love it...
Speaking of Dark Side of the Moon...
this was fun
