I think this is something that many of us have looked forward to. this could have a positive effect on trance in general!

someone have to make an entry for "tranceaddict"

at the moment it only says "Big tranceforum on the net"!

Get that "big" changed to "biggest".

Well I just took a glance at the Tijs Verwest page and it's full of spelling and gramatical errors, inconsistencies, bias and general rubbish.

Maybe TA should have a wiki. I mean most of our members can speak fluent English, and there's a vast amount of knowledge here. More so than what's on T.nu I dare say.

yeah I agree Fundamental. If you ask the average trance.nu visitor what trance is you will get the answer: Tiesto.

The info is pretty weak so far I think, I wonder how long it will take for this to grow into a valuable resource.

What perks are to be gained for contributing to this thing.

I have alot more information about it sitting at home, but I am at work now. I did a bunch of reasearch into trance psychology for a project a while back and have alot more sources and ideas that I want to include. Feel free to add you own pieces of info about the trance state of conciousness.

it's a nice project I think, we just kicked it off to make a nice informative wiki. And there are some very knowledgeable people on Trance.nu but they dont show themselves much on the forum anymore

anyway, contribute if you think you know better.

It's a nice initiative I think.
And of course it lacks a lot of info at the moment, that's the whole purpose of the wiki-system... the users should contribute to it and edit each other's articles (like spelling errors, wrong facts etc).

No need to bring the rivalry up between the two sites :D

that personal discovery quote might fit into my little trance conciousness article. You should add it if you can make it fit. I want that article to grow into something large and helpful, it seems that alot of people that follow this music dont really know anything about what it really means to be in a trance. So I made that article to talk about psychological and spiritual things.

right now I am trying to go through my old posts and copy stuff that I think can be altered into a helpful resource, so far I have only found the conciosness stuff and the elitists article but I have alot more.

I imagine alot of other posts sitting on this side could be made into helpful articles, too bad the search is broken.

Tried to contribute with some stuff, however i can only provide the basics for most of it. Trying to make it as neutral and informative as possible.

Well it kinda already happens on wikipedia, but I don't believe this one will end up like that

Given the trance.nu lyrics database, let's just say I don't have high hopes.
