olav basoski...he ever do anything good?

always seen this guys name around...he's done a ton of work...hard for me though to find anything i like...anyone have any suggestions...

Olav - Moscow Street Rock (Olav's 2005 mix)

^^ I do like that one.

His work kinda reminds me of a mechanical Chus & Ceballos minus the Iberican feel.

Opium Scumbagz was quite the hit back when it got released, worth checking I'd say. I've heard good stuff about the Samplitude-series as well.

Waterman is a nice little house number thats coming out about now

He's a cool cat. I think. He's best at makin' the funky house full of da filtafunk.

Waterman is old news man. But so is Can't Stand No Lies, and it's even betta.

I've always been partial to "Oddworld Oddyssee", one of my favorite house tracks.

In case you didn't look at Juno...

Olav Basoski - Waterman
Olav Basoski - Moscow Street Rock (Olav's 2005 Mix)
Olav Basoski - Opium Scumbagz
Olav Basoski - That Last Track
Hatiras - Spaced Invader (Olav Basoski Remix)
James Brown - Funk On Ah Roll (Olav Basoski Remix)

And so on...wait, you've listened to his tracks and can't find anything you like? Why are you asking us? Maybe you just don't like him.

hahaha...well you're right i checked juno and found all of those. i think the reason i haven't found much that i like is because it seems the majority of his new work is disco house...which isn't really a fav of mine...

but i did find some very nice tunes on his samplitude series that i really like...for example Anytime...fantastic track...just my style. i think his older work will fall closer into what i particularly am looking for...and it's just always harder to find samples of old tunes...

so thanks for the suggestions everyone...

Apart from the famous above mentioned Olav Basoski tracks >>>

I am a big fan of Basoski's older and less known but even better funky, disco and deep-ish house mixes he and DJ Erick E has released onWork Records , one of the best 1990s house labels from Netherlands in my opinion. Both of those two DJs have rocked the underground house scene of Amsterdam in 1990s very well - those were the days.

Here's some of the great mixes from that era:

First Works

Second Works

Classic Works
I also sugggest Samplitude series (I think someone has suggested that already though).

I am currently addicted to Olav Basoski's right man, Erick E and his Work 8 CD Mix ... mindblowing!

wodka wasters - pass the bottle!

together with armin! what a great track!

I have his RTZ Tools Vol 1 & 2

I love both as they give me a nice mix of pumpin' disco house and just some nice house grooves and even a nice tribal beat.

Olav B. - Jackpot just a simple tribal beat but it is SO pumpin'!

Big Time Charlie - Mr. Devil (Olav B Remix) I love this track, it's well old though
