Marco Borsato - De Bestemming (Ferry Corsten Remix)

Especially for the Muziek 10 Daagse 2005 the special album Made in Holland is launched. The Muziek 10 Daagse is an annual event that takes place from October 5 till October 15 in all record stores in the Netherlands. One of the most important concepts of this event this year is the release of the unique Dutch album Made in Holland. Marco Borsato has asked Ferry Corsten to remix one of his tracks especially for this album. It was a big challenge for him to remix a Dutch ballad to a track with a dance sound. "De Bestemming is my personal favourite single of Marco. The positive message and the great choice of chords make the track suitable to create a dance version without ruining its original style." says Ferry Corsten. The remix can be found on the free album Made in Holland released by Muziek 10 Daagse.

Releasedate October 5, 2005

Has someone heard this one. Would love to hear this one, just to hear how the dutch vocals are fitted in.

you can listen to a short sample of it if you go to www.muziek10daagse.nl > click on Made in Holland > then click on Inhoudsopgave and select Ferry Corsten.

The vocals hurt my ears and the backing of the track is overused by Ferry

Posted by zoric on Oct-08-2005 21:59:

I've heard that this is the worst tune this year..Hahaha

Posted by THE_Chris on Oct-08-2005 22:04:

TBH yeah, this rivals the Whiteroom mix of Summer Dream for 'sheer dreadfulness'

Posted by NoisyNeil on Oct-10-2005 11:01:

Ive heard this track yesterday, and it is rather weird to hear dutch vocals on a trance tune haha.

Quite funny too because when Gouryella - Ligaya got released, which Ferry did with the guy (John Ewbank) that writes and composes songs for Marco Borstato, Ferry said he would never remix a track of Marco Borsato on the question if this collab with that composer would end up in something to do with Marco Borsato.

But then, here it is. He probably did it for the money, cause this is the standard Ferry sound and really is nothing more, and nothing less then the original with some trance on it. Cheap! Suits the occassion though

Oh my.

Tiesto remixing Kane. Ferry remixing Marco Borsato. What's next?

Armin remixing Andr Hazes?

Posted by basd on Oct-10-2005 11:45:

With the current focus on the American market, I predict Tiesto remixing Tammy Wynette pretty soon.

Whiteroom mix of Save Me was far far far worse

okay, thats a good point, however, for such a small 'occasion', he cant make a master trance piece of it either, because thats not required. its simply a trancy mix of a dutch 'meezinger' (sorta sing-along-song), which is danceable for the people who dont listen to trance as we do ... this is pure simple occasion trance, its doesnt necasserily has to be 'da shit' ... (i think)

Posted by basd on Oct-10-2005 18:31:

It's stunning pieces of effort like this that have made (epic) trance to what is it today.

Got to be honest on this one even though I love Ferr. Heard the whole track yesterday and it's pure shit, I can't believe this came from Ferry..

Posted by spc on Oct-10-2005 19:48:

omg this is really disgusting

ferry might as well be remixing hasselhoff songs as well

Posted by Creamfields23 on Oct-11-2005 00:44:

That site wicked Tune is MEH

Posted by Stephan on Oct-11-2005 06:31:

This song is total crap imo!

Posted by Stino on Oct-11-2005 07:24:

that's what i was getting at. if it can be found in ferry's playlists then i'll be proved wrong, but i can't really can't see it as representative of his sound/epic trance/etc when it's obviously just a quick knock up job for a few quid.

All the artists involved in creating the cd did it for free so Ferry didn't get a euro cent for it.

Nope. It's pure shit too me, even though I love Ferry Corsten productions alot. Anyways, Everything can't be good and he likes to take risks while producing, That's a good thing though
