-- Modding your mixer.
Modding your mixer.
Is it possible to mod your knobs, as in buy replacement knobs for other utilities and replace yours?
My DNX1500 ones are really easy to take off so i was wondering if its possible to.
I know radio shack sells similar things so i was wondeirng if any of you have any knowledge in this field. I feel really annoyed lately and i want something to do. I need to mod my mixer in some way.
grrr don't say that.. i just bought one yesterday and should be arriving next week. How do you like it? I hear alot of good things with it overall. On the link below though, the switch does seem to come off VERY easy. I know this might sound stupid, but do you think Super Glue will work?
but a mods? it has been done.. turning the faders to rotary:

Generally, my rule for modding sensitive electronics is: if you have to ask for help on a message board, don't do it
But that's just me and I'm a retard.
They're just knobs to give you leverage, you can replace it with whatever you want just so long as the replacement is securely and accurately fastened.
i don't agree with that. You acutally get better help through the fourms then by doing it yourself. The reason being that you get the knowledge and experience both good and bad then by doing it yourself. I have done it before.. for both my car and when i first built my computer by scratch.
