Jonas Steur - Castamara/Silent Waves

This is one hell of a release. Two of the most addicting melodies i've heard in a while, especially Silent Waves. Been listening to this a few times today, and can't get it out of my head. Jonas Steur (Estuera) is a genius. He must make some of the best melodic trance out there. I just found out about this track on BeatPort last night, and I'm glad I found it. Castamara is pretty good, but it's Silent Waves that really shines in my opinion. A really energetic, yet relaxing tune that takes your breath away...seriously check this baby out. What does anyone else think? Anyone hammering this monster of a tune out?

Yeah, it's unbelievable. By the way have you heard the Jonas Steur Remix of "Starfighter" by Haylon? It's so full of energy and passion, Jonas Steur is quickly becoming one of my favorite producers! . I also love Estuera vs. Re:Locate's "Palma Solane", but I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Jonas Steur a.k.a Estuera is definately talented and skilled with his production style. Especially when I first heard Castamara on Armin's ASOT show, First thing that I said to myself was "Now this is what Trance was missing"

Yeah I don't listen to ASOT anymore, but I find out about new tunes on this forum, or on BeatPort, AudioJelly, Trackitdown etc. Does anyone know when Estuera vs. Re:Locate's "Palma Solane" will have a proper release?

I'm aware of this, thats why I am asking if it will have a "proper" release, as in the official release, with just that and or a remix/b-side track on it as well. Considering I don't have turntables yet (sold them for CDJs)so I wont be getting that, but usually (not always) when the vinyl is released, the MP3/Wave is released shortly after on BeatPort, AudioJelly etc, sometimes before. Anyone know where I can get this on MP3 or Wave?

Yeah finally this year there's some good trance! haha I've not found that many really great releases this year, as there were last year or in 2003. This year there's been a lot of the markus schulz variety of prog, but not alot of true, epic and melodic trance, but these tunes are surely some of the best epic, melodic trance tunes this year. It would be neat to have the vinyl but uh got rid of my crap Numark TTX turntables and bought CDJ 1000 MK2s. Really nice, but turntables would be nice too, just don't have the $ or room right now till I move out of this house. Too small of a room for all that (unless I get rid of my bed and sleep on the floor or my dresser haha...)

both great releases! i was lucky enough to get a sampler from fundamental recordings (http://www.discogs.com/release/464304) so i've been fortunate enough to listen to this tune for the past few months... some great stuff out from fundamental lately!!! really top notch label with some top notch artists like jonas!

Go to www.crystalclouds.com and register for free. The site has loads of new sets updated everyday...the Jonas set I'm referring to specifically is still on the left side of the screen under the latest added livesets.

agreed the both completely rock got to hear Castamara in SF Rubyskye on Sunday Night...happy moment in clubbing. Can't wait to hear Silent Waves on loud and live.
