Review for Ferry (09-10-2005)
He started 30 mins before expect hehe... some awesome tunes... thats for sure by about what 7am, started playing electro, what most of you wanted to hear... left at 7:30... hopefully I only missed 30 mins of the end of the set, if i missed more oh well lol
Saw alot of TA's thats for sure. Marc cant wait to see the video of this morning bud
One of the bad things I found, way to many people I sort of knew back in high school was there, I should be happy sort of, just cant lol. Never thought in like a million years most of those people would like edm music... stop going to like dome or wtv and start coming to Aria.
Let see I thought I heard Ferry drop... Probspot - Blueberry (sounded like it)... I loved how people went nuts to "Sublime"
Alot of women again. Wicked. Havent seen that many since, hmm.... Digweed and Howells
it was ok!!! i had a good time!!! a lot of people there!! almost impossible to go to the toilet when we standed in front of the dj boot
im not a big fan of this kind of trance but i enjoyed some kewl tune!, the crowd was on fire!!
i lefted at 6:30 because i was tired to hear some bad tune!!!
i hope you enjoyed the show!!
ah and sometime ferry played some tune in the same kind as marco g!!! at the beginning of his set!!!! i hate so much marco g! that i wanted to leave after 30 minute of the ferry set hehehehe
hey, just got home from MTL...so tired and strung out, but a wonderful night none-the-less. marco g blew me away, i've never heard him before and he opened ferry flawlessly, ferry was DOPE, but unfortunately because of my lack of soberness, i can remember all but 3 songs he spun (i love you, rock your body, punk)...hopefully there's a tracklisting and/or recording??
so we left pretty much when nick pilon ended, headed out, and all was smooth sailing, until we got pulled over at the border, had to wait in the customs office for 45 min, watching other poor vacationers' have to enter a room to be strip searched. basically we were shitting our pants, until they were like, 'oh you can all go now'. no strip search. not even a bag search...yeah WTF indeed.
so now we're home, all safe and very very tired...it was an awesome night, a pleasure to see you all again, and meet new TA's/friends that I did. And my sincere apologizes to Tag for not dancing, next time mon ami
hope everyone else also had a great time!
5 hour drive there and the night seriously started one second and ended the next... went by so fast... and my memories are a little blurry to say the least... crazy night, nice meetin new people and whatnot... time to sleep
C'mon TA's , post your replies and tell me how much of a great night I missed
awesome awesome
i don't think ferry played that much of electro tho, kind of was expecting more of it.. oh well, great set nonetheless
wow i met a lot of ta's, it was a pleasure talkin to you all
cant wait till the videos and pics!!
hi2u: tag, lopi, jester, malek, louis, falcon-x, jonathan_h20(?), partygurl(?), alec, krinker, tylerM, light, caela (omg super cute), marcus, + those i cant remember right now

Wow, I lied to myself.
I was complaining on TA about how many TAs were wanting to meet Ferry, and somehow I was one of the few random TAs that did.
I got my I love Ferry, shirt signed and talked to him briefly and he's a really chill dude.
He busted out some of the tracks from last April and they were all worked in beautifully, goooooo Ferry!
Place was pretty packed though, but I loved the jumping and screaming crowd.
I rememeber some people kidding around and yelling for Armin
wow!! what a night loved it ...loved him amasing DJ..so nice and down to earth.I had the chance to be in the booth all night (merci Marcoo)then had to drope him @ the airport with a friend and Mr Louis....(i freaking missed the exit so I was so scared for him to miss his flight!!) here's a pic @ the airport with Ferry.

Met, Falcon-X i think we talked about some stuff, dont really remember. Either way he's a cool guy. Met TylerM also a cool guy. Caela and bf fun as always. Ferry amazing. Met malek, who was too lazy to take a picture. Oh and layloula pwned the dj box with her energetic punches in the air, immediately copied by Tag. that about sums it up
Oh ya, I met Malek too, cool guy for sure.
FERRY WAS A MACHINE
I won'T write down my usuals complete review
only demonstrate some calculs :
Alcohol + Aria + Ferry = F.U.N (Fuckin' Unbelievable Night)
ok now...
TRACKLIST TRACKLIST TRACKLIST
The amazing crowd plus Ferry's energy and enthusiasm was so intense... Never seen that many people at Aria jumping up and down...
Ferry Corsten is the king of earth.

I had a really great night! Just woke up...yeah I'm a sleeper lol
I arrived at the ARIA for 1h45, got downstairs on the dancefloor for 2h15. Marco was playing a very nice set and I didn't take time that I got into it.
Now Ferry...OMFG! this was just too much to take lol I arrived on the tables at 3h40 I think and left at 8h40. His set was the best Ferry's set I've ever heard and I was totally destroyed by 8h00. I remember hearing Rock your body, I love you, Digital Punk, Sublime, Where the streets have noname remix...and more but I can't remember their names. I'ld have to check my mp3s. I had to take a break at 6h00 because my feet were hurting lol
Nick was also pretty good. Actually I stayed until 9h15 because I was too tired. But from what I've heard, he plays song like Armin plays, because every songs I've heard where in ASOT in the last weeks
But if Nick would have play the first one, I'ld have dance more than with Marco I think. More my kind of trance
The only thing I hate was that the ARIA was overcrowed (is that a word??) IMO. SOmetimes I couldn't dance because a guy decided to come in front of me where there was like no space and he couldn't move either. And also there was a guy besides me that wasn'd dancing at all, he was just listening and smoking. Anyway, anyone was bumping me, was getting bumped too lol
I remember seeing many TAs near the booth. Marcus of course which was actually IN the booth at the end of Ferry, Malek who was taking pictures, a Trance.nu guy who was giving a cd to Ferry to get an autograph, I think I even saw. Because I got no memory at all, I couldn't remember what TAs where wearing, but now that I'm reading the meetup thread, well TAG was dancing behind me for like an hour. I think that's about it. I didn't met any of you guys because I didn't know you were TAs OR you were too far. Sorry...
Bottom line, awesome night and Ferry is definitly in the top of my fav DJs. He DESERVES to be #1
