Socom 3.
Who's going to pick it up? I pre-ordered it on Amazon.com. Should be a great game.
it's out today i think
It came out today by me. I played it the last 3 hours & it was a total buzz kill. Maps are way too big, lag as usual, graphics arent as good as expected. The only fun part is driving the hummer with 5 people in it. The game kinda reminds me of Star Wars Battlefront which was a bust.
SOCOM is a solid series. However, i sold my PS2, so i miss out now
I got it. Name is BlAcKNoVa on it.
It's good, but has some problems. I think personally it was rushed a bit. Has a few annoying bugs, such as stats not updating quickly enough (can take a day or so sometimes), getting stuck with a damn SASR/F90 (terrorists) or SR-25/HK5 (Seals) and not being able to switch unless you re-join. Hit detection is still garbage too imo.
With that said, I'll probably add another 800 hrs or so of my lifetime into the SOCOM series, and shitloads of $$$ on new controllers/mics that I end up breaking over the frustration of the horrible hit detection.
gotta love playing in morocco

This game rocks...
I'll play it on my friends until I get the cash to pick it up!
i never get how you aim on these games, i have socom 2 and never killed anyone online lol, its like as soon as i come round a corner dd-d-d-d-d, flop, dead, dude dances
just got socom on PSP. hard to control
compared to other available mmo fps's out there this is a dissappointment
Yep, Socom 3 sucked ass, the single player that is, I don't play online. They took away alot of commands, like stealth to, attack to, etc. Plus the Bravo team and Jester are getting stupider with each version.
