Noel Sanger has current and forthcoming releases on some of the world's best dance labels, and massive support from DJ's as diverse as Armin van Buuren, Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo, Erick Morillo, Stryke, John Digweed, Markus Schulz and Jonathan Lisle. Noel has earned a place among the world's elite producers and remixers. As a DJ, he has toured the globe, from Tokyo, Japan to Lima, Peru, and all over the North American continent. For two years he toured the US and Canada as the personally-chosen warm up DJ for the world's most popular DJ, Tiesto. Noel's five nationally released mix-compilations since 1997 have set sales records and been met with enthusiastic praise from critics, and he is currently in production on his sixth, which will mark the launch of his newly formed label, Dissident Music. He is also DC's newest local, freshly relocated from the Sunshine State.

Teebee needs no introduction. He's become one of the major successes of the UK's forward-thinking Certificate 18 label, as well as winning the "Best International Producer" award from Knowledge Magazine in 2001. He's gotten raves from all the major players in D&B, including Grooverider and Fabio, Andy C, Ed Rush and Optical and Bad Company. He's had releases on numerous labels, including Prototype, Juice, Creative Source, Moving Shadow, and many more, as well as releasing several mysteriously haunting R&B-flavored drum 'n' bass bootlegs.

Hmmmm, I might have to go and see what this Sanger dude is all about.

Posted by DeRangedMind on Oct-11-2005 23:48:

Last time I saw him was when he opened for DJ Tiesto in 2003 @ Glow. He did a very good job of opening. I will be there to see since I haven't seen in sometime.

I've seen Sanger twice in Atlanta.

First time he rocked it.

Second time he rocked it more and i drank tequila shots with him in the booth.

(maybe that's why he rocked it more, tho lol)

regardless, the guy is a class act.

i doth recommend it.

Which genre did he focus on those nights? Breaks? I'm hoping he'll set the place ablaze with some serious shit!

I've never once seen him spin but am very interested!

we've had him here in NYC twice in the last few months and he has played a little of everything. Lots of really cool progressivey vocal tracks, some breaks, darker beats earlier in his sets, some trancey stuff as well. You guys are in for a treat.

Yeah, although, for some, he is known for spinning breaks........ he mainly tends to focus on prog, breaks, some sick vocals (one of them sung by his wife...who knows, you might hear it)....and a good taste of a solid track selection.

He's not paying you to say all of this, is he?

It just sounds too good! Thanks!

This friday everybody!

Posted by Mebot on Oct-18-2005 06:38:

Wow I didn't know Noel moved to the Metropolitan area. Pretty cool

I've seen him twice ( but i think he was only opening for people) but he played some really banging prog. i would love to see him develop throughout his set, but unfortunately i've prior engagements this week.

since you live close to DC, I expect more frequent visits though.

Ahhhhhhhh, there are really only a handful of things that are more pleasurable than a good club night - and a public forum isn't exactly the place to be delving into the rest of them!

Anyway, it was kind of a slow night until Noel took to the decks. I'm sure the thin crowd was far from what he had hoped it to be, but to me it was only that much more room in which to dance. I'm a bit disappointed that my ride had to bail so early, but that's the way it goes when you're relying on a designated driver to cart you over an hour away.

I'm just glad that this dude is a local now, because he obviously knows how to put together a quality set.

Noel, I was the person that showed you the text message on my phone saying "Welcome to DC!" - and I seriously meant it, bro! Although you may not have had the biggest reception on what boils down to be you opening night - we're still mighty privileged to have you around!

I look forward to seeing you again in the hopefully not too distant future!

Peace

It sucks I couldn't make it out since I have a very very busy schedule this next two weeks and plus I didn't wanna pull a all nighter since I had to be at work at 6am.

Please come around next time and I will surely make it out

well first of all, i DID add myself. and second of all, there aren't as many DCTA's as there are NYTA's. third of all, how can you call people pricks because they haven't added themselves to some stupid internet map? dude, pick your battles...you must have a serious anger issue if this gets you worked up

It's called cognitive dissonance. Anyhow, I've been on that map for almost a week now, and on the PDD map for nearly a month.
