If he could only drop one track this Thursday

what track would you want Armin to drop??? ( In San Diego @ On Broadway )

Well I would like to hear him play Wall of Sound b/c it's one of my fav on shivers and I haven't heard anyone drop it except myself ^_^ But really I would die if he would play "Foreplay" from probspot ala Universal Religion!

if he could only drop one track i think there would be riots lol

I feel neinerlove's whip coming my way but I'll say it anway. I don't like SOME of his new stuff either BUT he is a master DJ. I was extremely impressed with his mixing and crowd interaction skills this past weekend even when I didn't agree with some of the tracks he played (Bad Deal --sorry again about that, sweetcandy girl I'm an idiot not a hater like Clovis86 ). It made a HUGE (positive) diference in my enjoyment of his set. Part of that may have been due to the Spundae magic which you have yet to experience

Yeah I'm sorry I dont sit here and act like I LOOOOOVE every single fucking dj and I actually have certain tastes...

I agree with philippe that he has good mixing and great crowd interaction, but his debut artist album was a fucking disgrace.

now that i think back i did leave an VERY EXCELLENT REVIEW about KvA @ Spundae.... i spoke about "lazyness" and lack of mixing.... if people pack spundae.... give them a live show! atleast mix for more than a couple crashes...
KvA displayed mixing that was WAYYYYYYYY below par in my book. mixes were like 24 beats... rofls.

Thanks True, I was expecting better too. However, considering that Shivers is my favorite track of the year so far; that he already has quite a legacy to live up to; that he puts out a 2-hour radio show (using Ableton ) EVERY SINGLE week; while touring all year long more than anyone else... I'm very willing to give him a break on the Shivers album. Plus, some outstanding remixes may be on the way...

Well I dunno...when I saw KvA @ The Mor they had very good mixing.

Saying someone "sucks" is not being a party pooper, its an opinion, and if you cant deal with that then I suggest you join Armin's forum, where any naysayers are probably banned. If I had shit mixing but everybody always told me I rocked...I'd feel cheated.

What I wont say, is something along the lines of "philippe you have shit taste in music" because I respect his tastes just as much as I hope he respects mine, and obviously we agree on many things like the fact that Perry O'Neil - Waveforce owns

That said, I hate shivers

what?!?!?! ...Bad deal has got to be one of his recent GOOD productions, but not even his original remix comes on par with the remix by r&r. But yea, I bet the environment has to do a ton with it...I still am going to call spundae the great beyond.

+1 to that (sorry phillipe), his album has got to be one of the worst artist albums I have heard. As with Markus Schulz (my favorite dj), his artist album has no representation on his dj-ing skill, again thats if your talking about his djing. Also, like markus, armin has a radio show that really I think has gone to crap too, nothing on there that really appeals at all! . With all that said, he has some of the best live sets out of all djs, and I really thinkg that is what matters, almost parallel to markus. All in all, to every man his own!

You have some higher standards than most people , as long as there are no wrecks and a great tracklist (which is the hardest part), I do not see too much of a problem. Everybody is a critic though

mixing is about MIXXXING the tracks into eachother. dont you miss hearing 2 melodies at the same time?

only if harmonically mixed, I would rather hear basslines than unharmonically mixed melodies!!! that is actually something (quoting ruben) that grinds my gears! I grew up around crossfading djs so...8 seconds isnt that bad , again as long as there are no wrecks!

It is hard to pick just one Track!

There where some last weekend that I asked Philippe about and he did not know what they where! I would like to hear those again
