Exclamation 2005 MLB: World Series Race

Ook we have 4 teams left....

Sox Vs Angels

Astros Vs Cardinals

Id say...Astros/Angels meet up @ Then World Series. Then my Astros win and take it all

Im glad Yankees got there asses whooped...haha!

Predictions?

I wouldn't call a 2 run difference in the deciding 5th game an ass whooping, but you shallow Yankee haters make an inch a mile. The Red Sox, on the other hand, certainly had their ass handed to them.

I hate to play moderator, but there is already a thread on this subject.

astros and angels

i think the media is going to handle the astros-cardinals game, and serve the world series in a silver platter to roger clemens .. just for the viewing public ..

i think the cardinals are going to be serving up an early vacation to houston. i think the cardinals have a bitter taste in their mouth after last year. houston should focus on t-mac and yao.

nah ....
houston shouldn't be worried about the t-mac & yao connection ..

the houston public should be looking in the classified ads under the section "security" to help david carr and the texans ... he is getting raped on the football field right now ... ...

i don't know .. i just have this gut feeling that the media is going to try to sell roger clemens in the world series, because the public will not watch the cardinals in the world series .. i know the baseball lovers will watch the cardinals in the world series, but the media is worried about the non baseball lovers ...

or maybe my rant is about my disgust for FOX and low attempts to get ratings ..

Oh. Okay. Now I get it. For a while there I thought you meant that FOX was trying to fix the series so that the Astros won. Yeesh!

In anycase, I hate the Cardinals more than I hate the Astros. So... hooray Astros!

i would not be surprised if this news came out ..
FOX is more conniving than CNN, imo ..

Good, didn't think there were any Astro fans on this board. Personally I don't think you have much of a chance against us. We are better in almost every position and whilst you may belive your pitching is superior ours is more than capable as Carp proved last night. Couple that with superior hitting and defense and I see a no brainer here.

I think Angels will take ALCS.

Houston is so not going to win. The Cards are just too good. And someone please tell Roger to retire after this season. I mean hes one of the best pitchers ever and he can still bring it at his age but go out on top man. Remember Nolan Ryan? He stayed in a few years too long and they sucked for statwise. Also, his huge ass contract is way too big for someone who plays in every fifth game. If he stays another season, he should take a paycut at least so the Stros can get some help where they need it.

Well, Game 1 of the World Series is on, With the White Sox, Do you think they have a shot at reversing that Black Sox curse?, It's possible, If the Red Sox reversed the Bambino curse, The White Sox can do something about that Black Sox curse.
