Winter Music Conference & Ultra Music Festival Announce 2006 Dates
Dear Artists, Managers, Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure we announce the dates for the 21st edition of the Winter Music Conference and the 8th Annual Ultra Music Festival. Winter Music Conference will be held from March 24th � 28th, 2006 at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort and Ultra will simultaneously take place Saturday, March 25th, 2006 at Miami�s legendary Bayfront Park& Amphitheatre as well as the after party at American Airlines Arena.
In 2005 we exceeded our own expectations by increasing WMC registration by over 1000 people and selling out the over 48,000 capacity to Ultra Music Festival. We thank you for your support in making this possible!
This year the WMC � Ultra partnership will continue for its 3rd consecutive year. We�d like to thank artists and teams such as Moby / MCT Management, Paul van Dyk / Nasseri Music Business Solutions, Danny Tenaglia, BT / Three AM and others who were so active participated in WMC and performed at the festival.
We plan to continue this tradition of excellence by working together to promote Electronic Music within our own industry and on a global scale for the fans. Together with your participation we can make a difference.
As we evolve as a musical genre, bringing in rock and electro elements, more live performances and industry professionals, you will see a lot of new participants in this year�s program. We now would like to invite you begin planning how you would like to be a part of the 2006 WMC / Ultra Music Festival Tradition. Below are the contacts for the areas you may be interested in. i hope LP brings back Armin and Picotto...and of course PVD @ Space durign wmc is always insane.

M3 Summit is the actual reason why the WMC is held each year - DJ and producer networking, panels, events, discussions, etc...
Basically, all the things none of us do. We just party.

alright so i need advice from all you veterans. Last year was my first WMC/Ultrafest experience and we basically made a mess of everything. 1) we ordered our tickets to late so that we had to pay the $80 price which to tell you the truth i didnt even mind considering how much fun i had but anyway 2) we didnt pre-reserve a hotel room so that when we got to miami (which btw was at 7am the ultra morning cause we left tampa at 3)
we spent most of the morning looking for a place to stay which was close to impossible 
and ended up in some shitty ass hotel in south beach with a broken door handle 
paying $100 dollars a night. now my plea for help is what do you recommend is a good time to reserve a hotel room and if you have any advice on where would be a good place to stay. as far as the tix i got that info on the website. Thnx!

Hmmm... dj_mdma can only make one of the weekends, but I'm toying with the idea of coming over for a week ahead of the rest of the UKTAs and get myself a nice swanky hotel room
I must network with locals and find out good prices and areas
ya..ill be coming in from out of town..
i cant decide if i want to crash at other peoples hotels or set up something with other people...
the whole Global Gathering so early really makes it hard to figure the shit out... arggh

other days depends on the lineup
