Queensland has lost the plot!!!!

MIGRANTS moving to Queensland from interstate will pay for the privilege under a Beattie government plan to boost health revenue.
Premier Peter Beattie said yesterday people migrating to Queensland from interstate had an obligation to contribute financially to the state's health system.

Weekend reports said the Premier had hinted at charging new arrivals, but yesterday he confirmed he planned to seek a contribution from those relocating here.

you are kidding me queensland is an elitist state? this is the state that brought us steve irwin, pauline hanson, XXXX beer, big brother and the australian branch of the KKK i could go on for awhile but i dont think i need to. beattie is delusional to even think queensland is an elite state. a plan needs to be enacted to blow queensland away from the australian mainland (like tasmania and new zealand) so we dont have to put up with such madness.

Unfortunately for him, would work out cheaper to fly commercial than with me at the moment. Until I get the plane in the piccy I have to hire - at about $200/hr flight time. Would take 2 1/2 hours to get to Melbourne.
