[techtrance] O-man - Technation
Hi there,
I've finished a new techtrance track. I've put pretty much hours in this track and I'm happy with the result. Maybe the final mixing can be done better, still learning there.
Please leave some comment if you have listened to it. Possitive or negative.. all comments are welcome. Some info what you like or not is really appriciated.

Listening:
Great bass drum & bass; Groovy.
Excellent progression!
1.57 freakout beat. Not sure about it...
2:00 A little repetitive
2:04 the bass drum dissappears again. The flow is interrupted...
2:18 love the exit into the break. Sweet effect.
grunting synth
3.40 Nice layering.
The tune is rather generic. Some cymbals come in at odd times & at times seem off beat.
All & all this is a great effort. Thanks for sharing mate.
Tnx for you reply !!
I have one word for this...
WICKED!
Bags of energy and it rocks!
I would like to contact you for a CD if that's possible. Will gladly promote this in the clubs for you.
Send me PM if this is of interest?
Actually, would even be intersted in a colaboration, let me know your thoughts.
All the best

Cool. I've send you a private message.
There's not enough variations for my taste...and I got bored of your loooong intro...
but otherwise it's great full of energy...nice synthwork and clean production
both thumbs up!
just curious, what did you use for that main lead sound?
just wondering
killer track!
the only thing i have to add is that the built-up is a little long, i was waiting for a blast-off at 3:12
Tnx 4 reactions. The pretty boring begining is always a killer, have to make a simple inmix part for the djs.
Main lead... guess what... Refx Vanguard
Hey Oman,
The thing I like most of your track is the percussional drive. the track has a lot of energy. For the rest I think the mastering and EQ'ing needs a bit of work. The track sounds a bit flat, even though with techtrancy tracks that is not really a problem.
I am not going to discuss the melody (a bit boring to my tste) in this track, again techtrance is not about great melodies, it is about energy and it needs to bang. In both cases you have done a decent job
.
Cheers mate!
Nomen nescio
Tnx!!
This track is ferocious.
I could really go off to this if I heard it out. The bass is very crisp and clear with heaps of energy. Repeats a bit too much like people have said, but I guess thats the tech part in it. Good stuff!
Tnx
Absolutely loving it OMAN.
The way that kick first drops in. Dope.
Bassline great.
Synth is awesome. Breakdown, creepy. and that SYNTH OMFG.
<3 Vanguard.
Good build. Great filtering, and im liking how the snares and click add in.
Overall, just plain badass.
Keep it up. I'll check out some of your harddance/hardstyle tracks on your site later.

nice & techy
nothing too special
but overall good track
The intro is kind of boring to me, you could make it a little more exciting. When the snares come in and you double the speed (:53), it's too much imo. Right after that it starts getting hot. Really loving those 'dry' synths. The break down starts a bit boring, but at 3:12 it gets good
The track is a little too repetitive, but I must say, it's def. something I like to listen to. Good job!
Well, listening to the track I noticed that u should enjoy Silicon Recordings :P especially jesselyn hehehe
anyways nice track...
I produce tech trance too and I know that is no easy to make a good track
If u didn't do this try to send your demo to silicon reocrdings
clean and smooth but lacking melody. i really love the bassline and overall instrumentation as well as the minimal intro. but as songs go it doesnt have enough depth or melody to it....
Tnx 4 reactions! I'm inspired by Marcel Woods and Jesselyn(uhm Michel makes her music), really love that kind of tracks, so that's why it's in the same style.
Still learning, it was my second techtrance track. Good to see that there's some potention in it.
