So you can do more than just being the resident Dickhead.

J/K, I really like the mix.

"Transatlantic (Andy Moor Remix)" and "Brothers & Sisters" were may two favorite tracks. Track selection was good too, being that it was put together on the fly.

Fly Dirk, Fly!!!

Well aint that a bitch...I was considering using the above tracks on a new mix myself. Great minds think alike. Captain Hook is one of my faves at the moment

Dirk, I think its natural to be apprehensive. Artists are their own worst critics and nowadays its getting harder and harder for me to put something out cuz I am way to damn picky when it comes to having every last transition sounding right. Each and every time I put one of the mixes out I have for download, I was more and more skeptical about how the listeners would recieve the mix cuz everytime I'd try to outdo myself...but then reassurance would come when I got the feedback n all. I think that sometimes we demand so much from ourselves when everyone else is nowhere near the critic, but yeah dude I gave the mix several listens and there wasnt any noticeable errors my ears detected. We all have room for improvement, and ways we can improve are for the most part subjective; but objectively I can say its pretty well mixed, good order, you might make sure a few local promoters get a hold of it.

One gripe: No DJ Sammy.

Otherwise, I like it. It fulfills my periodical prog-house desires.

I thought you were going Prog House...weren't ya?

I think Pete should be the only Asian spinning Latin House.

Funny that you mention it...I checked out the Mojado album a while back and "El Terca Ojo" is probably one of my favorites on there. Not very housey, but very latiney.

But as far as music goes, I've been in a slump. Nothing much has really caught my attention as of late.

Posted by davemolina on Oct-25-2005 15:03:

Mojado is God.

A well compiled set featuring some of the great tracks floating around @ the moment. Very well mixed and arranged.

Progressive House introduces its self early on, slowly reaching
the full on progressive trance territory mid-way, breaking back to some very nice vocaly/prog tracks towards the end.

16 Bit Lolitas & Stef Urolijk's 'Between U' starts the set on a house tempo with progressive undertones, continuing the vibes with Pole Folder's 'Innerturmoil' gets you ready, but the set only really takes off courtesy of Damian DP & Jose Zamora with 'Transatlantic' (Andy Moor Remix). Andy Moor, well he certainly is very talented in front of the decks & in the studio arranging, this track shines with new & fresh production work, pushing it into one of my favourite remixes of '05, take a listen also on Andy Moor's excellent 'Baroque: In Session 002' witch includes 'Transatlantic' and many other top tracks in prog.

Other tracks by Habersham & Huminous, Klinkenberg, SSC & Quivver are of course all top (lots of great voices), with That Kid Chris feat. Melanie S. - 'Reflections' (Victor Calderone & That Kid Chris Remix) introducing some great vocally & Terry Grant feat. Jennifer Home - I'll Kill You (Luke Chable Mix) topping the vocal tracks off on a high. Ending on a fast note with Ariel G - I Love Music, steadily the beats ends....

This mix is in the top 20 on this site, just great tracks @ the right time, mixed perfectly.

1: 18: 30 192 VBR 107.81MB enjoy the listen...
